Snow over the hills

I'm standing to watch the wheels

rolling over the rocks

Closing in on the trucks

The wind is blowing fast

my up quickly turns to dawn

over and over, the soil is still brown

the route is still far, I pray it doesn't last

Onto the truck I go

stationary I am

tilting left and right, I still stand

each pull feels like a crawl

At the final stop, I jump

rolling over the rocks again

closing in on the train

this time there is no return, I feel the bump

rolling up the hill

the journey felt real

I couldn't stop to feel the sun

Even during the dawn

My body is filled with holes

am tearing up and am expose

but I'm still rolling over the rocks

closing in on the hill op, the final stop.
