Shinso's P.O.V

I groan as sit up on my bed and open my eyes since I just woke up
I feel my mind spin a little

My eyes travel around the room, looking for Y/N for some reason
I knew he wasn't going to be here, but I still had hope
He probably wants to play a game of cat and mouse

I put my feet on the cold ground, feeling a shiver go up my body
I hate cold mornings
Standing up, I make my way to the bathroom as I always do

I wash my face and start doing my usual morning routine
Today is quite busy, I have to think of a way to get to Y/N since he won't come to me.. do I have to find a way to summon him? What if I just..

I look at my reflection in my mirror
"Y/N, Y/N, Y/N.." I say his name three times in a row
After waiting for a bit, nothing happened or changed. I lightly chuckled to myself
I heard it in some stories that this works. But I guess this is real life, not a fairytale
I should've expected that

I change into my usual clothes and walk out of the shared bathroom and go downstairs to get breakfast
"Hey man!" A certain male with silver hair greeted me

"Morning Tetsu" I greeted back and got some bread with and an apple
I felt myself get more and more sick of these people by every day
"I won't be present today, I have some stuff to do. Just saying" I said to him

He nodded "Roger! Don't be to harsh on yourself and come back safe"
I waved at him and went to leave the building
I passed a few more people on my way but didn't bother to talk to them
There is someone more important I want to talk to

I sigh and eat some of the food
I might as well look for him in the town, he was there seemingly yesterday so why not today too

I finally got there, being greeted by strangers but none of them being the sweet h/c boy
I look around looking for familiar faces but no luck

My steps took me to the center
Still nothing

The bar
Nothing

The library
Damn it, nothing..

Anywhere else
Still no luck

I sigh is frustration and pull the f/c rock from yesterday out of my pocket
You're such a nuisance Y/N..

"Excuse me" someone with a feminine voice put a hand on my shoulder from behind
I turned around to face them and I was met with woman with dark blue hair and a bit revealing outfit
Kind of looks like an escort.. no thanks

"Yes?" I asked her
"Are you Hitoshi Shinso by any chance?" She asked and smiled sweetly
I don't have time for this

"Er.. yeah, but I am quite busy right-" I rubbed the back of my neck nervously before she cut me off
"I have some valuable information I think might interest you" she pointed to the item in my other hand, still smiling
What... Does that mean? Is she an another demon or something? I mean.. who knows better about demons than a demon itself..

I nod and respond "on the other hand,I still have some time to spare"
She gave me a satisfied chuckle and motioned me with her hand to follow her
I did as she said and followed her

We ended up in a lonely part of the town where the people almost never went to since there is nothing interesting, or is often occupied with rats

She turned around to face me, since I followed behind her the whole time
She started "so, I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself" she apologetically bowed

"Call me Midnight please. That rock you're holding got my attention in the moment I saw it. No idea why and how but it did" she flipped her hair
"So if you don't mind" she got closer and cupped the hand with the rock in her own hands "do tell me how you got it"

I took my hand from her and wiped it on my clothes
"I suspect that you're a demon" I pointed out bluntly

He face turned to a little surprised expression
"So you got it from another demon? Aw, that's sweet~ Who was she?" She said in a little teasing tone

"It wasn't a woman, his name is Y/n. Do you know him by any chance" I asked her
Wait that's it! If she knows him, she can bring me to him or at least talk him into meeting me!

She looked confused "Y/n? Him? Seriously?!" She raised her voice
"Yeah?.." I said a bit confused
Maybe she knows Y/n in a different light

She scratched her head "so he went on a hunt for his memories huh.. poor you honestly" she sighed
"Tsk, why do you demons always talk bad about him?" I sent her a a small frown

She looked me dead in the eye and grabbed my hair harshly "listen you cocky bastard, don't fucking do that at me ever again"
"We have our reasons" she said still holding me a bit harshly but letting go of me soon enough

"He's bored in the underworld and keeps annoying you in order to be entertained, I get it" I sigh
"I figured out that without him I was also bored"

She tilted her head slightly "no. I don't spend time with him as much as Aizawa does"
I looked at her confused and she sighed "that's the homeless looking dude you already met. Black hair, scruffies on his face, tired you know.."
The man in the bar! So he has a name huh..

I nodded and motioned her to go on
"Well, as I was saying, I don't spend time with him much. To be honest not at all. But the few times I met him was horrendous" she groaned
"Even the way he looks is annoying, not to mention his disgusting personality. He used to torture other demons with sex, mental and physical pain and blackmail just for fun"

I can see him doing that
"He wasn't nice to me or a few of my girl friends at all, talk about being misogynistic.. anyway, I'm pretty sure you're under Aizawa's protection already but I want to help too" she smiled proudly

I looked at her a bit puzzled
"I don't need help, I don't mind Y/n, I think he isn't that bad" I brushed off the whole rant she went through

Midnight almost choked on her own spit
"We're you listening or are you dumb?! He will only use you for what's comfortable for him!" She made many frantic hand gestures

"He's a selfish bastard and won't let anything get in his way of getting what he wants!" Her face looked a bit distorted at this point
I'm getting tired of her already, I don't like when people talk smack about Y/n. Only I can talk that way about him

The woman looked at my spaced out expression and said in a worried manner "you don't care do you.."
I nodded slowly, being a bit worried if she'll kill me or something

She let out a defeated sigh "whatever, this is not my battle. Don't come crying to me when he makes you go insane"
She walked past me to leave but I grabbed her arm before she could

She sent me a puzzled expression
"I'm leaving, let go, it's not use talking to you if you don't even care about what I say" she tugged on her arm to escape my grip

I shook my head
"I need you to help me with something, afterwards I'll listen to whatever vent you go on"

She looked a bit interested in the deal
"..Depends on how big the favor is" she pointed out

I let go of her "it's not anything big, at least I think..."
She thought for a little then sighed

"Spill it fuzzy boy" she said, even though she looked a bit displeased
I won't take that as an insult..

I looked her in the eyes
"Can you help me see him or send me to him?"
