Shinso's P.O.V

It has been who knows how long since Aizawa left

I've been thinking about what he said about Y/n. I'm not scared of him

He's beautiful...
"what... what's w-wrong with you?" i questioned the person no... creature above me
He's sweet...
"You think I show love this way?! Father do you realize that I'm a demon? I just didn't want to be bored anymore so I got back my memory from when I was alive and looked for that green haired bastard's soul. And lord behold, it was you who had it the whole time. End of story. I used you"
He's perfect in all aspects
Why would I be scared of him?

I sit up on the bed with a groan
I'm hungry

I stand up, ready to go into the town to get something. Then it hit me
The soul thing, right. I'll try my best for you Y/n

I walked out of the house and went straight by the path leading where I needed
It wasn't that far away, which is nice. Whenever I wanted to get something in my hometown I had to go up and down the hill, but here it seems that the path is mostly in the same height all the time

When I got there, the place seemed lively
Kids running around, old folk telling stories to some of the children and adults doing their usual work
How lucky this town is to have Y/n here

The sun looked like it's about to set in like two hours and the sky was mostly clear
I wasn't in that house that long was I?

I sigh walking to what seemed like an open restaurant, with all the tables outside and only window with a counter that let you see inside of the kitchen
They put the food on the counter and call out the order and a waitress brings it to the right people

I sat down to an empty table and the only waitress there was quick to come to me

"Welcome sir, I haven't seen you around here yet, are you new?" She asked, her hands entwined with each other on her lap
She was young, brown hair, honey golden eyes and a nice figure. I get why it's so packed here...

I nodded
She sent me a sweet smile "then, may I proceed to tell you what we have?"
She's also well spoken and has a nice voice...
I'm starting to hate her more and more

I nodded yet again and she started to list some random dishes I've had before

When she was finally finished I sighed in relief "I'll get the Yakiniku with rice as a side"
She nodded and left to tell the chef
They better hurry up, I don't have all day

I cross my arms and lean onto the chair

"You're one lucky dude," a man from the table next to mine called out to me "the cutie seems to like you"
I looked at him "why's that"

He chuckled and an another dude next to him continued the other's sentence
"She doesn't give that smile to just anyone, especially not to newcomers"

Third guy sitting there nodded "...hey I think I saw you somewhe-"
I shook my head "shut up, I'm just here to eat"
They quickly looked away

Soon enough, my food arrived, being brought to be by the same lady
"Here you go, I hope you like it" she placed it in front of me and stood, smiling at me

I looked at her "yeah... You can leave"
She blushed "O-Oh! Sorry, I will" and with that she speed-walked away
I shook my head

I picked up the fork and tasted the meat, then the rice
It's not bad, but I've had way better before

I finished soon enough, leaving some leftovers

The same lady again came to get my plate
"So how did you like it?" She asked
I hummed "it was alright"
She nodded with that smile again "I'll go get your check then" she walked away
No way I'm paying for that

As she returned, she played with her fingers nervously
"A-Also, would you mind if I t-take you out to dinner tonight" a visible blush appeared across her face
What?

"I've just had dinner" I crossed my arms, trying to show my uninterest
"T-Then does coffee sound alright? I can make it at my home. My family says I make the best dark roast in the town" she chuckled

I shook my head "I'm not interested"
"P-Please, just once. You seem like a really nice person and-" she started but I cut her off by standing up and wrapping my hand around her throat
There was something making me hateful and almost like Y/n's behavior. Knowing it's my last day amongst the living was probably the main reason

"Why do you think I'll give you a chance? Just because your pretty and you get what you want?" I glared down at her
Nervousness filled her expression "N-No i-"
She got cut off again by a fork jabbing into her eye
At that moment, time have seemed to stop for a second

Why was I doing this? I'm not that kind of a person. I will regret this. She did nothing wrong

I'm doing this for Y/n, who cares what happens next

Her screams filled my ears as I got out of my own world. People started yelling at me and even tugged me away from her, trying to call for help
"You're fucking ugly compared to him" I spat at her but she couldn't care about my words right now, how selfish

Some dudes held me to the ground but I kicked the strongest one's croch and he easily let go of me
I got the others off of me and ran into the kitchen through the window

Luckily, there was a gas tank in the corner of the room, just as I need it
I've never committed arson, I hope this goes well

I took the tank, left the kitchen and when I was a good distance from it I opened the cap and threw it back into the establishment
The building going up in flames followed the huge explosion

It was an oddly nice sight

Many people screamed for help, others were injured and some randoms were trying to hold me in place until help gets here
They held my hands behind my back
"Let go! This isn't enough!" I yelled at them

"What the hell is wrong with you!!" They yelled back, tightening their hold
I struggled against them, trying my best to break free. I needed to do more so that he'd be proud

But, all my efforts were in vein
So I just sat there, watching other buildings catch fire as the injured fight for their lives
I wish Y/n cold see this

Suddenly, I felt the people who held me let go and with screams they fell back
I looked behind me
An angel saved me...

Y/n pulled me up by my collar and dragged me away, running towards a wooded area, away from the town and the town folk
He looked pissed and confused at the same time

When we got there, he stopped. He put his hands on his knees and took deep breaths
"Haa.. fuck this human form..." He cursed under his breath
As his breathing got normal again, his tail, horns and wings sprung free
He let out a satisfied sigh

Afterwards he looked at me with wide eyes
"What the fuck did I tell you last night?!" He raised his voice
