Earlier...

I left Shinso in that house since I still had some shit to take care of
Of course he insisted on getting a 'good night kiss' from me, he's getting to feisty
I did give it to him... But only because I felt kind to the less fortunate okay?!

As I left the house, i decided to go check out the town and what it's all about. I used to know a dead dude from here, he always sung about this place like it was some kind of sunny, beach, vacation resort...
To me, it just looks sad as fuck

Anyway

I walk past this one stand that was ugly as fuck, I don't even want to get close to i-

"Hey kid!" The person at the stand called out to me "would ya like some read bean paste buns?"
I turned to look at the person and it was an older woman. She looked like a forty year old cheap prostitute

"Um" I stared at her, looking her up and down
She had an unnecessary amount of makeup on her face, it made her look like some kind of a story villain
"Don't be shy boy, I'll give it to you for free if you complete this one challenge" she smirked at me
I... Sure, what do I have to lose

I turned my body towards her, showing that I'm listening to what she has to say
She chuckled and held up two small vessels "one of these is poisoned, of course I know which one it is, choose one flask and if it doesn't kill you, you get as many free buns as you want"
Wow, too easy

I nodded and randomly grabbed one vessel, drinking all of the fluid in one go
Her eyes widen
I growled "it's bitter"

She stared at me for like five minutes, waiting to see if I drop dead
She looks at me as if she saw a ghost
"That... The trick was that both of them were poisoned. How-" she questioned but I cut her off
"I want five buns, give me"

She shook her head to get out of he daze and gave me the exact number with her hands shaking. Sweet
"Pleasure doing business with you" I sent her a smile

I turned to continue my journey but then the winning feeling turned to a generous feeling
I'll share these with the less fortunate since I've been oh so good lately

I finally got back into the house

I slowly make my way up the stairs and into the room Shinso was sleeping in
I got into the room, put two buns next to his head and turned to leave but I couldn't yet
He looked really peaceful when he slept
Almost as if he's dead

I crouched next to him, moving his hair out of his face, taking in his looks
He wasn't ugly...

"Feeling nice huh" a voice made me jump up
I let out a little squeak, looking into the corner of the room and seeing the oh so familiar face
"Oh shit it's just you, you scared the shit out of me" I grabbed my chest

He shook his head

"Don't tell on me, I'm bribing you" I threw one bun at him and he looked puzzled
"Don't worry, I still have two of my own" he opened his mouth to say something but I already left the room, I don't want any friendly chat right now
I still have some shit to do after all
