Chapter 21

                       -Emily's Pov-

The 3rd phase if the chunin exams finished  and we were all waiting to see who we were up against.We all had to draw papers from the box that Anko was holding.

After we did that we could go home and train until the 4th exam.It starts in a month.I was walking home when I thought.

'What should I do for my training,should I ask Kakashi to train me'.

I speak of the devil there he is.I quickly walked over to Kakashi.He spotted and did a close-eye smile."Kakashi,...can I ask you a favour,"I said while looking away.He looks surprised and a little bit shocked.

"Go on,"he said."Can you...train me,"I asked hesitantly while looking away.

After awhile he responded."I cant,"he said breaking the silence."Why,"I said.

"I'm training Sasuke,"he said."Oh okay,"I said a little bit hurt but didnt show it.

"Emily-,"he said noticing my expression.

"Its fine,I'll just find another trainer,"I said while walking away.

I felt his hand clamp around my arm."Emily-,"he tried to speak.

"I said it's fine,"I shouted accidentally attracting attention.

"I'm sorry but I said its fine,"I mumbled noticing that my shout attracted attention.

I ripped my arm out of his grip and left.

'Why did I lose my cool like that.'

I shook my head.'Anyway I'm going to the training field.'

                        ~Time Skip~

I finally entered the training field.I sighed and sat on the floor thinking what to do.

A few moments I heard a harsh voice."Are you going to use the training field or not,"I heard I turned my head and looked up.

It was a boy,who had long brown hair,a built figure,looks very arrogant and had white eyes.

"I am,"I said turning my head back to focus.

I could feel his glare burning holes through my head.

"I suggest you leave since you are not doing anything,"he said rudely.

I ignored him and continued what I was deciding on.

"Hoi,"he said harshly."If you are just going to sit around in thought,then leave,"he said.

I look up to him."The training field is big enough for the both of us,we can both use it,"I said looking him in the eyes with a glare.

We held eye contact,more of glaring until I spoke.

"Ne,do you want to be my training partner,"I asked.

I saw his eyes widen in surprise then narrowed them.

"Why should I be your training partner,"he said said rudely.

"Because I'm strong,"I said.I saw him put a smug smirk in his face.

"Then we will see,"he said.

"Though,listen carefully,its your destiny to lose,"he said with a cocky smirk.

I look at him with my own smirk."We will see,"I said.

We stared at each other waiting for one another to make a move.His foot moved a slight bit forward and that's when the real fight began.

We both ran head on to each other and met each other half way..

I saw his punch coming for my stomach so I put my hand out and block it.I grab his wrist and tried to punch him but he quickly slapped my arm away.

I released his wrist and jumped a few feet away to regain my fighting style.

"You're good,"I said smirking.He glared at me.

"Fire Style:Fireball jutsu,"I said blowing out fire.

When the fire cleared up he was gone.I looked around and tried to hear any movements but there was none.

I suddenly felt pain in my arm.I looked behind me and saw Neji.

I'm guessing he closed one of my chakra points in my arm since I couldnt use my arm.

I quickly put a distance between us.He had a cocky smirk on his face thinking he just won the battle but hes wrong.

I looked at his eyes which were now activated.I smirked.

I closed my eyes,focusing the chakra on my eyes."Byakugan,"I said while opening my eyes.

"That's impossible,only the Hyuga clan has the byakugan,"he said.

"Well,think again Neji,"I Said smirking.

"How,did you steal one of the Hyugas eyes,"Neji said with rage.

"Nope,I just copied it,"I said.

"Copied it,"he said."Yea,its my kekkai genkai,I can copy any blood line trait,"I said.

"So your a copycat,fine I'll show you whose byakugan is stronger,"he said.

'How am I supposed to do Jutsus with one arm,I cant even summon my scythe like this,think Emily,'.

Suddenly I was flying through the air and my back hit a tree.

'Damn that hurt,I'll have to use taijutsu then'.

I rushed to Neji,and used a feint.Instead of punching him I kicked him in the abdomen.

He flew a great distance away but he stood up and ran at me.

We kept punching and kicking until I felt the numbness in my arm start to fade away.I could slightly move my fingers now.

We kept punching and kicking.We were panting heavily."Oh,I didnt get your name,"I said.

He looked like he was hesitant but answered anyways."Neji Hyuga,"he said.

"Emily,"I said.Our heavy breathing turned into small pants.By nowI could move my arm.I quickly rush to him to take him by surprise but as expected it didnt work.

I summoned my scythe with the rest of my energy that I had left.I quickly put my scythe's tip against his neck but noticed that his hand was in front of my heart.

It was a draw.I unsummoned my scythe and dropped to the floor panting.He dropped his hand and sat on the floor next to me.

"That was a good spar,"I said with a small smile.

"Hey,Neji wanna be my sparring partner,"I said.

I got no response so I took it as a yes."I have to go,see ya,Neji,"I said.

I stood up with my wobbly legs and left.
