Chapter 26

                       -Emily's Pov-

There appeared Jiraiya who started doing his big speech saying he doesn't fall victim to woman which was a big lie.

I mentally face palmed.'Did he really...How could he say that when he literally ran off with her?No time to think about that,let's just focus.'

Then Naruto shouted out my thoughts.I sighed making a dead pan face.

Here we are facing two strong people but these two still argue.

"You deal with this everyday,"the fish man asked turning his head towards me.

I sighed while nodding,mentally finished with these two.

I felt an urge just wanting to dig a hole and crawl in to it because of the embarrassment I was feeling.

Jiraiya put the woman down while saying that Naruto was their target.

My eyes widened in realization.So that's why they were in the village and followed us here.

No wonder they're here.Then Itachi said that Naruto was the akatsuki's no.1 priority but then he mentioned something else that took me by surprise.

"And our leader wants that girl over there,"Itachi said turning his head to look to me with his sharingan activated.

Again my eyes widened in realization,so that's why he wanted to have a chat with me and Naruto,hmm.

I narrowed my eyes at him.Is it because of my kekka genkai.

While I was thinking this I didn't realise I was put under a genjutsu.

Everything started turning black and red.

I looked around confusingly but then realised I was placed in a genjutsu.

I tried releasing it but it didn't work.I was just about to try to release it with my sharingan but before I could a noise interrupted me from doing so.

I slowly turned around and what I saw made me feel shock and fear.

There stood Erika and Jessica and everyone laughing or making fun of me.

My eyes widened in shock.

This happened after I confronted Erika and Jessica about them making rumours of me.

I turned around and closed my eyes.

"This isnt real,this isnt real,it happened a long rime ago,I'm in a genjutsu,"I said clutching my head trying to calm myself down but it didnt work.

Then I heard Itachis voice echoing around me.

"You see what they did to you,Emily,"he said.

The scenery changed to where they were beating me up and carving demon on my back and arms.

Itachi then appeared behind me."You see how they tortured you,hurt you,"he said.

I breathed in shakily.No matter how much I tried to push my past away it still haunted me.

Now that's its being shown to me again it struck fear inside me making me feel weak.

Then it changed to Naruto,Sakura and Sasuke on the ground with a puddle of blood beneath them.

Itachi leaned in close to my ear."Your too weak to protect them,they will all end up getting killed because of you,you will never be able to protect them,"he said then vanished leaving me to attend to my past.

                            -Time Skip-
                         -Naruto's Pov-

I was sitting next to Emily-Chan waiting  for her to wake up.

Before this happened Ero-sennin and Sasuke's brother was talking but then suddenly Emily collapsed and was like this the whole time.

Even getting medical treatment didn't help,ttebayo.

Sasuke was in the exact same condition as Emily.I sighed in frustration,when will they wake up.

I reached out and entwined me and Emily-Chan's fingers together.

"Emily-Chan,please wake up,everyone is worried,ttebayo,"I said with my eyes closed.

'If I did something maybe Emily-Chan, wouldn't have ended up like this,why am I so-.'

Before I could continue my thoughts I felt a twitch underneath my hand.

I opened my eyes quickly and saw her face scrunched up.

I quickly pulled away from her and ran out the door almost tripping over my own feet.

"Doctor,doctor,Emily-Chan's,waking up,ttebayo,"I shouted and ran back iqn.

Her hand was still twitching while her face was scrunched up.

It was like she was struggling to wake up.

I held her hand in mine. "Emily-Chan, wake up,ttebayo,"I said squeezing her hand,she squeezed back.

"You can do it,Emily-Chan,ttebayo,"I said and with that she jolted up with a loud gasp.

She was sweating like crazy and tears started streaming out of her eyes.

"Emily-Chan,"I said softly but she didn't hear me.

She wasn't focused.It was like she was stuck in what she dreamt of.

So I did the only thing I could think of,I pulled her into a tight embrace.

She was still for a moment but hugged me back,holding onto mw and cried into my shoulder.

"Its okay,Emily-Chan,it's okay,ttebayo,"I said while rubbing her head.

"Its okay,ttebayo,"I said.

Okay,I apologize for not updating for a long time but I wanted to finish my other fanfic even tho it's not finished but I updated this because I had to,since its been like 6 months since I updated and I'm really sorry.

But I updated and I'll continue to....it depends.

But anyways,I hoped you guys enjoyed the chapter I wrote and continue to enjoy the chapters that I will publish in the future.
