Chapter 22

                       -A month later-
                         -Emily's pov-

It was finally the final phase of the chunin exams.I have learned some new Jutsus that might come in handy I hope.

If you wanna know who trained me it was me.Neji also helped me a bit with his sparring.

I can now use the Hyugas stance which took me nearly took me two weeks to  get used to but it was worth it in the end.

I was going up against a boy named Zora.He has black hair,blue eyes,tanned skin and has a sort of built body.

I looked around and saw Gaara nearby so I walked over to him.

"Hey,Gaara,"I said.He looked at me and nodded.I looked forward.

"Are you okay,"he suddenly asked.I turned to him surprise but smiled a little.

"Why do you ask,"I asked."You were holding your neck In pain,"he said.I was confused but then remembered.

"Oh,that I just got a cut on my neck,"I saud coming up with an excuse."Can I see,"he said. I was not expecting that.

"Its nothing special,Gaara,"I said hoping he would let it go."Show me,"he demanded.

"But-,"I said."Show.Me.Now,"he said in a deep demanding voice.I sighed in defeat knowing that I cant get out of this.

I turned to him and lowered my collar a little.He looked at my neck and his eyes widened.

He touched my neck which I slightly flinched at."This isnt just a cut,what is this,"he asked.

I took his hand off my neck and put my collar back in place."Its a curse mark,a snake gave it to me,"I said.

"A snake,"he asked.I nodded my head.
After that It was silence between us.

"Can Emily and Zora,come down,"the proctor said."I guess i have to go,see ya Gaara,"I said.

He nodded his head and with that i jumped down.

The proctor raised his arm and swiped it down.

"Hajime,"he saidmI backed away from Zora.We started circling each other.I secretly took out a kunai and threw it at him but he jumped out of the way.

"Fire style:Fire ball justu,"I said."Water Style:Water dragon jutsu,"he said.Our attacks collided and steam appeared.

I looked for him.in the steam but couldnt find him.

"Sharingan,"I whispered and looked around to find him."Water Style:Water serpent,"I heard from behind me.

His jutsu collided with me and I was sent flying into a wall."Emily,"I heard Naruto shouting.

I stood up and brushed dust off my shoulder.I stared at Zora disappointed.

"She doesnt have a scratch on her,"I heard someone say.Zora glared at me.

"Water Style:Tsunami,"he said.I saw a wave above me.I got swept up but I swam up.

When I reached the surface I put chakra on my feet and stood on the water.

"Your really weak,I'll end this now,"I said.I activated my byakugan and got into the Hyuga stance.

I heard gasps all around me.I looked at Neji and he nodded.

I quickly ran to Zora and punctured his chakra points in his arm.

His arm went numb."What the-,"he said. But got interrupted with me kicking him in the stomach.

He flew the the air and landed on the ground.He coughed up blood.

I quickly put a knife to his neck."You wanna continue,"I asked.

"I-I give up,"he said."Emily wins,"the proctor said.I sighed in relief and released the boy.

I walked up to my friends and sat down next to Neji.

"How was that,"I said."You still got a long way,you think you can handle it,"Neji said with a smirk.

I looked at him with my own smirk and nodded.I look towards the fight and watched.
