The wind was crisp, not a cloud in the sky and not a worry in the air. The front line was miles away and there was no eminent danger nearby.

Dock workers laughed as they move around their jobs, occasionally hitting on ladies with red bands before being told off by an authoritative voice; someone with a white band.

There is a boat out at sea, Marlayen. No one is steering. Only a body lies on top of the main deck. Unconscious. Their green uniform ripped, hair disheveled and noticeable bruising on their head. The body wastes away near a puddle of red liquid. Is it theirs? There is no immediate way of telling.

The boat gently bumped against the ports dock. Workers place a ramp, connecting  the boat and dock over the body of water.  The sea swells. Skeptical Sailors heed this as a warning. One of the braver ones steps on the main deck. He waits to spot soldiers waiting to rush off and back to their families. But none. He calls others up. All confused and anxious.

Shouting soon broke out.  They are shouting for their commanders and military men and anyone with some sort of authority to follow.

"ONE OF THE MISSION SHIPS, ITS BACK." One dock worker pokes his head through a barrier to tell a child to run get nearby officers. The boy scampers off, tripping over his loose shoelaces.

The boat is one from the many mission to the 'Devils Island'.

The news of one of the mission ships returning spread fast. Faster than bullet. It dragged the military commanders and present Warriors in. Zeke is the first there, next to Commander Magath.

"A person, sir," a sailor runs up to Commander Magath, "they're unconscious."

"Who are they?" Magath questions.  The commander immediately assumes it is one of his own. A pitiful mistake to make, especially at war.

A sailor steps forward, he's holding some sort of document. On the cover it is stamped as: Paradis Mission Ships. It contains a log of every soldier on board each ship that set sail to the island.

"We don't know sir, there's no data matching their description nor do they have a tag, let alone a band."

As soon as Reiner shows up, he is sent to retrieve the body. On the deck it is not soldier rather one of the devils they swore to kill.

"Fuck." Reiner mumbles under his breath. From his reaction it is obvious that he knows the unconscious body.

"One of the 'Island Devils' you encountered on your mission?" Reiner nods at Magaths' question, "is it worth keeping them in our custody?"

"They have one of the Titans of Ymir. One of the ones thought to be lost for centries."

Reiners comment sparked Magaths attention. It was one thing for an 'Island Devil' to turn up unconncious on a Marlayen ship but another thing for an 'Island Devil' to turn up unconscious on a Marlayen ship and be a Titan shifter with one of Ymirs lost Titans.

"And here it is on our doorstep." Magath smiles, one of those smiles that sends fear into everyone, even the most stoic people.

Reiner sadistically laughs to himself thinking: I left that island 2 years ago, I thought it would be a lot longer until I'd have to see a devil again.

"With the new Warriors still too young, it'd wise to keep them in a cell."

"Sir." Reiner nods as he picks up the body. He walks along the ramp connecting the boat to the dock being careful of his step, making sure not to slip.

A crowd has gathered on the dock, people have come out of their shops and had stopped their business to lay eyes on whatever spectacle was happening. Branded civilians stood side by side as they watched the Warrior whom carried an 'Island Devil'.

Zeke jogs to reach Reiner.

"This is odd." He fixes his glasses as he pears down at you.

"No kidding." Reiner sighs, his skin tingling where his skin met yours.

"Know them personally?" Zeke seems intrigued a bit too intrigued if you asked Reiner.

"They were part of the 104th Cadet Corps. Ranked in the top 10 and gained a lost Titan."

"Does the Devil have a name?"

Reiner hesitated before saying "Y/N L/N."
