Chapter 14

You could not keep your eyes shut much longer.

"So you finally stop pretending to sleep." A man with black hair squats down in front of you.

"How'd you know?"

"You always pretend to sleep if you want to avoid something."

You hesitantly nod. Out of nowhere a scout with glasses and an eyepatch screeches:

"YN YOU'RE BACK!"

They come up and hug you, squeezing your guts. Squeezing the air from the lungs until you can hardly breathe. However, there is something comforting about being trapped in a hug.

"Hange, I don't think they can breathe..." a boy with short blond hair says. His eyes are amazing, sparkling bright blue.

"YN your report?" the man in front asks.

"They don't remember anything Levi." Zeke says again.

"You're Levi-"

"Captain Levi..." he rudely interrupts to correct you.

"You're shorter than I'd imagine."

The scout that just embraced you laughs as she screeches, "I missed your jokes!"

Captain Levi goes to grab the collar of your Marleyan uniform but a girl with a red scarf steps between you and the man.

"Mikasa, why do you always wear that scarf?"

"Thanks." You mumble under your breath.

"YN do you have any information to help us?" the blond hair boy asks.

"Why would I help you?" you try not to sound intimidating much to your dismay that does not come across. You can tell by the look on the Scouts faces.

"What?" Levi moves closer to you, his eyes burning a hole into your soul.

"They don't trust you!" Eren laughs, throwing his head back.

Trust.

"YN why?" the blond hair boy grasps your hands in his, his eyes pleading for you to return.

"I don't know who you are..." you answer meekly, you hold out your hands, "aren't you going to restrain me? Isn't how a kidnapping is suppose to work?"

"You might not trust us, but we trust you." Levi spits.

"As I was saying they don't remember anything." Zeke tries to stand but the girl with the red scarf pushes him back down.

"You really don't remember anything?" The scout with the glasses looks like she could cry, "do you remember me?"

You slowly shake your head as you look down at your feet.

"I'm sorry," you apologies, "I don't know how to help you - I don't know if I want to help you. The Marleyan's have looked after me all this time whilst you devil's-"

SLAP

Levi slaps your cheek.

"DON'T FORGOT YOU ARE THE SAME AS US!" he angrily shouts.

"Calm down Captain, they have been brainwashed," A tall woman with short blond hair and an undercut comes out from the controls, "you could call it a Marleyan special. Prey on the weak and mould them."

"Yelena, what do you think we should do. You and Onyankopon broke from Marleyan rule."

"It's a tricky one..." she smiles. Her smile squeezes your lungs, it causes your breath to hitch as you become scared.

The door bursts open causing you and Yelena to break eye contact. It is the Scout that carried you to the airship.

"SASHA'S BEEN SHOT!"

"Meat girl..." you whisper under your breath.

The blond haired boy and the girl with the red scarf follow the Scout through to the other section of the airship.

"YN go with them." Levi gently pushes you through the door, "if you suddenly remember Sasha, or any memory with her, you're going to regret not saying goodbye."
