Spencer

I held a tray of breakfast for Josephine. I was just about to enter her room when she slammed the door open and rushed down the stairs in a frantic state.
I gripped onto the tray tightly and heard the apartment door slam shut.
I hesitated to call Mr. Kylevi or Peter but, she seemed really...determined about something. If I reported it to her dad or Peter they're gonna stop her in whatever she's doing.

Reese

I was having a breakfast date with Nova in the library when Josephine entered panting and wearing pajamas.
"Guys!" She approached the table and slammed her hands down. "Do we have anything on The White Phoenix?"
"We should yeah." I replied. "Why?"
"Great thanks!" She rushed over to the history and mythology area with Nova and I following her in concern.

Nova

"Jo." Reese said as we watch her grabbed books on books in her arms "What's going on?"
"I don't know." She said, stacking her last book "I'm about to find out." She walked past us and left the library, turning to the direction of the file basement.

Josephine

"Kylevi. Kylevi." I repeated as I looked for my last name. I pulled everything I could about my mom and looked through the large room for names of my ancestors I'm aware of. "Perfect."
"Josephine?" I heard Peter's voice. I gasped silently. "Nova and Reese called. You're not supposed to be down here."
I didn't respond. I used my powers and teleported to our training room.

I yelped and landed instead in my apartment living room.
"Josephine!" Spencer said in the kitchen in shock. "Where the hell did you go?!"
I used my powers and set a shield around our door.
My brothers don't know how to teleport yet.

"Library. File basement." I said and spread the information I collected around me on the rug.
"The file basement?!" He freaked out. "You can't be down there! Even if you are an Atlas general!"

Spencer

"Spencer!" She shot up and stood in the living room. "I need you to help me."

"You don't know about the White Phoenix?" I said in shock while sat on the living room door with her.
She shook her head in confusion.
"Jo... The White Phoenix is a legendary spirit that has lived in your bloodline for generations. There's even a possibility that you or your brothers could be the next wielder. " I took a book and held it in my lap. "Here." I began to read " 'The White Phoenix was one of the universe's first creations. Her soul has lived in the Gunderson family blood line. Once a child of the Phoenix wielder is born the White Phoenix will reincarnate herself to who ever she feels is the proper person.
Her powers her thought to just be exposure to radiation but was known officially untrue just a few years past. Over time people have been able to harness her power in different forms and experimenting on others; also giving them a gift and also thought to just be radiation.
To keep the identity of the White Phoenix wielder safe, she gifted relatives the same abilities. But the person who wields the spirit, who is also identified as the White Phoenix, has the superior powers over the gifted people.
The Phoenix only stays within the one bloodline. Often choosing a female role due to the natural leading personality or as recorded to only be the first born female child or second; only within those two. When the child is born the Phoenix chooses the future leader of Team Atlas. She knows by going through time and knowing their future and who they are as a person. The first time she was ever detected and officially known was..." I hesitated.
"What?!" Josephine said.
" 'Over 16 years ago. The last White Phoenix known was the late...Artemis Wright Kylevi."
"Over 16 years ago?" Jo was confused. "How recent was this book written?"
I scanned through the back and front of the book "This was written 23 years ago...by your dad."
Jo sat silently in shock.

Jade

"Here." Elizabeth helped me fit my uniform while the team waited for Josephine and Spencer. We had called Mr. Kylevi in case they didn't show.

The glass door suddenly shattered as Jo slammed the door. The metal frame fell forward as she stomped to us with a book in her hands.
"Hey, what's going on?" Nova came forward.
Spencer followed Josephine, panting.

She threw a book and papers in the floor, making them scatter. "When were you gonna tell us, dad?" She stared dead at Mr. Kylevi. "Or were even going to?"
He stood silently. "What are you talking about?" Peter asked.
"One of us five could be the next White Phoenix." She growled when her ears turned galra. "Oh wait! Yo don't know who the White Phoenix is!" She said sarcastically. "The White Phoenix is a spirit that lives in our bloodline. And mom was the last one. "
"Dad?" Christopher stood closer to their dad. "Is she serious?"
He sighed and looked down in shame. "Do you know who the next one is? Dad?"
"No..." He replied softly.
"So you don't know so you didn't choose to tell your kids who their mother really was?" Josephine continued with an enraged tone.

Elizabeth

Spencer came forward next to Josephine and tried to calm her "That's enough." He whispered.
"How did you even get this info?" Mr. Kylevi asked.
"Mom contacted me through my powers and told me about the Phoenix. She said it might be complicated for us five. And she said I'll need this info for our 'dangerous' mission. Spoiler alert; we're going to an abandoned AGC base. There's been signs of radiation. Or should I say it's of the White Phoenix's powers. Anyways; So I went to the library and snuck into the file basement."
"The file basement?!" He yelled back. "You can't be there. This are classified!"
"Really?!" Josephine began to glow with her powers in rage "You want to talk about classified?! How about lying to us ever since we were born?! And why get all ticked if I go down there?! Aren't you the one who allowed me to become an Atlas general and the captain of the universe's protection?! Then why keep all this from me?!"

Spencer

Her wings expanded larger than before when a powerful and severe wave went out. Furniture flew through the walls and the metal lockers crushed into flat pieces of metal.
She turned and stomped passed me. I could see her eyes glowing pure white and white auras glowing around her fists.

I chased after her. She got to the end of the hall when the glowing from her began to slowly die down. She suddenly collapsed.
"Josephine?!" I sprinted to her.
I held her numb body in my arms before teleporting back to our apartment.

I laid her in bed and sat by her side. "I'm sorry, Jo."
