Josephine

My eyes opened slowly to a damp but warm sensation on my forehead.
I struggled to sit myself up and was shocked when a towel plopped on my lap.
I groaned and wiped my tired eyes.
I looked around the room to seen no one. "New room?" I mumbled. "It's...bigger. And there's a couch."
I yawned and laid back in bed, cuddling up in my comforters and swiftly going back to sleep.

Jade

I knocked softly on Anthony's apartment door just past midnight. "He said he's usually still up by now."
I sighed and looked down at a metal bottle in my hands.  "Maybe he's exhausted."

Anthony has been watching over Josephine for the past few days and he hasn't been getting any rest. His brothers aren't allowed to see her and Nova has other patients.

It's been seconds and he didn't respond. I hesitated to knock again but decided to just walk away.

I yelped when I saw him suddenly appeared ahead of me. He looked down at me and I could see his baggy eyes and numb facial expression.
"Uh..." I froze "I didn't mean to disturb you. I just wanted to check up on you-."
He grabbed my hand and walked me into his apartment.

I was speechless and scared to say the wrong thing.
He sat me down on his couch and went upstairs.
I sat silently and alone till I could hear his footsteps down the stairs.
He came back in the room and comfortingly set a soft blanket over me. "Thanks." I nodded softly. "Oh!" I jumped "I made you tea."
He didn't reply but took the bottle and set in on the coffee table.
He laid down on the couch ahead of me and tucked himself in. "Thanks." He said softly.
I smiled and he rolled on his other side, with his back facing me. "Now get some sleep."

Beck

It was almost sunrise when I went to our team training room for a workout.
Team training has been canceled but we all come in separate times to workout.

I froze at the glass door and windows in the hall to see Sage dancing around while practicing axe throwing.
She lip synced the the music in her headphones and pointed ahead of her with her axe she had just gotten off the wood target.
I smiled softly and made my way in the room.
"Hey, Beck!" She smiled brightly and took off her headphones. "Don't you usually workout in the evenings?"
"I woke up early and got bored." I shrugged and took off my shirt, folding it in my gym bag. "Say have you gotten the chance to see Jo?"
She shook her head. "Nova doesn't want anyone visiting right now. She said that Keith, Peter and Chris got into this big fight and Jo stopped it, making her pass out and she's been asleep for the past few days. So Anthony is the only one allowed to see her and monitor her till Nova says."

"Can I ask you something?" I said after a brief moment of silence as she threw her axe.
"Of course." She smiled brightly and pulled her axe back.
"I've been wanting to ask if you wanted to get lunch some time." I blushed softly "We've been busy and everything and I didn't want to pressure you or seem weird-!" I began to panic.
She laughed "Don't worry about it."
My eyes widened in fear as I looked up at her "I wasn't gonna say no."

Elizabeth

I was instinctively getting ready for early morning training when I froze while putting on my training clothes. "I'm stupid." I said to myself. "Josephine is still in the hospital. I should pay her a visit."

"Hey, Nova." I answered the phone just before leaving my apartment to head to the pilot area. "What's up?"
"Are you doing anything right now?" She asked.
"I'm heading out to work. Why?"
"Do you mind heading out and getting some food for Anthony and Josephine?"
"Yeah." I nodded "I'll be there in a jiffy." and I hung up the phone. "Wait-"

Nova

"Thanks for running out for me." I was handed the paper bag of food.
"No problem." She shrugged.
"I really owe you." I smiled. "I was taking care of Josephine's meds then Anthony came in here and fell asleep on the couch-"
"It's fine, Nova." She chuckled.
I sighed and nodded softly. "Thanks you again."
She nodded back "I'll see you around." She left the rooms.

Anthony

"Here are the parts you needed." Pearl and Jade came into Josephine's hospital room while I worked on updating robotic leg braces from generations ago in my family.
"Just set them there." I pointed at the couch behind me while I was sat on the cold floor. "Thanks." I said after Pearl set the metal material down.
"What are you making?" Jade asked.
"Robotic braces for Jo's legs. Her legs were so severely damaged that her legs were paralyzed. So I pulled up old tech and fixing it up for her."

"She's still asleep?" Jade asked after seconds of silence.
"She's been in and out for a few seconds then she goes back to sleeping for hours at a time." I yawned and drank the team Jade had made for me in the morning.
"It's freezing in here." Jade added.
"For us with powers," Pearl said "heat weakness us. Josephine spent days in a closed room over 115 degrees. It's a miracle she survived. The heat stunts our powers and weakens all our systems. Which could lead to unconscious and/or near death."
Jade nodded. "She's a fighter."
"How are your brothers holding up?"
"They're really trying not to poss of Nova. Speaking of; you guys need to go before Nova sees you two in here."
"She is scary when pissed." Pearl shrugged and made her way out the door.
Jade waved softly and followed as I waved back.

Pearl

I walked along with Jade down the hospital halls and reached the pilot area just outside.
"So you and Tony?" I elbowed her softly.
"What?!" She blushed red.
I laughed "It's so obvious on how you look at him. He's so clueless."
She pouted and stuffed her hands in her pockets. "I try all I can."
I snickered. "Anthony doesn't warm up to people as quick as his siblings. But this the most he's ever talked to someone who's not in his family. So you're heading down a good path."
"Really?!" She said excitedly.
"Now don't get your hopes up too high."
