Betrayal//s1

Bailey

Spencer stepped forward and joined his mother at her side.
"Oh you..." Josephine charged forward but Spencer shot her back with his own powers.
Josephine got back up and panted. I looked back at Spencer and could see guilt in his blank expression.

A soft ring went off when Josephine stood up ahead of the team.

Josephine

"So you've also identified the White Phoenix?" Ms. Cleary said.
"What?" I said in confusion. I looked down at the necklace. I peered back up at Spencer with tears forming in my eyes. "Are you serious?"
He didn't reply but instead look down.
"Well," Ms. Cleary sighed and clapped her hands softly with a bright smile on her face. "Team A take care of these punks. Team B report back to the ship." Team B soldiers open some time of tem pad and suddenly phased away.
War cries let out and my team did everything they could to take the enemy down.

"How could you do this?" I asked Spencer with tears down my face.
He stood alone and formed a dagger with his powers. "I'm sorry." He charged at me.

Peter

I formed a bow and arrow with my powers "Tony!" I shouted.
He teleported to me then got us both to and higher perspective. I shout countless amounts of arrows at soldiers taking them down while Anthony formed a sniper and attacked.

Christopher

My eyes began to glow brightly as I manipulated roots between us.
Keith hopped onto one and began to shoot his powers as soldiers.

Beck

I looked back and saw Sage getting up from getting slammed down.
A man came closer with a long dagger when I shot my rifle at him.
I sprinted to her and tried to get her up. "My leg." She whimpered.

"Sage is injured." I said through our ear piece.
"Her back to the ship." Bailey replied.
"No!" Josephine said.

Josephine

"Anthony get them higher up."
I grunted and swung my axe at Spencer. He dodged and kicked me over.
I groaned and my weapon faded away. I shot my powers into him making him stumble back.
I formed a dagger and came at him.
He shielded himself with his dagger "I'm sorry, Jo. I don't want to hurt you."
"You just did." I tear up and sent out a wave. To push him back.
He shot his powers roughy into me making me tumble over.
I groaned and struggled to push myself up.
I heard him teleport and hold me up. "I'm sorry." He formed a long dagger and slid it into my abdomen area.

Peter

All of the soldiers had been taken down when we all witnessed Josephine's attack.
"No!" I teleported for the first time and went full galra on Spencer. "You bastard!" I punched him in the face while he laid on the floor.
"Phoenix down." He grunted and said into an ear piece.
"Peter!" Anthony called.
I looked back and saw Josephine Phase away like the other men.
"No!"'I tried to hold her body but it was too late.
I sat on my knees and held my hands on my thighs.

I yelled and proceeded to torture Spencer.
"Peter stop!" Beck yelled but I ignored.
I held my hand up, panting, with a beam ready to strike it into his head.
"Do it." He said softly with blood all over his face.

I shuddered and sat back.

Josephine

I woke up after what felt like hours in a extremely heated room which makes us with powers extremely weak to the point of near death.
I whimpered trying to stand but I was too weak and in so much pain. I stumbled and fell chest first. The sounds of chains rang in my ear when I looked back and saw two pairs of power enablers on both my wrists and ankles.

I rolled on my side and could see I was stripped down to my sports bra and and shorts I woke up in this morning.
I could see just a light layer of bandages over my stomach. I could feel other dressing on other wounds around my body.
"Good morning!" I could hear the voice of someone I grew to hate within two seconds.
"What..." I panted my energy and strength away "the hell...do you want from me?"

She sighed "Where do I begin? When I was younger Atlas took away my home in the AGC. They wanted to see if they could transfer the powers of the Phoenix to a non powers person. That was me.  I was used, tortured... your family made my life hell."
"What the hell do this have to deal with me?!"
"If I have the precious daughter of the Leader of Atlas and The White Phoenix herself in my clutch, Atlas will have to come and get you. Then I can finish what I've started." She sighed "Revenge."
"I am not the Phoenix!" I argued.
"No one with regular powers could be alive in this room right now, Josephine. And the camera footage from all those training days and from that burst with your dad. Woah!" She said in complete awe "I knew exactly who you were."
"I don't even know if I am." I panted and rested my head on the burning floor.
"We'll find out soon." She began to walk away but her footsteps came back. The door of my heated cell opened and I saw her standing above me.
"Good thing this heat stunts your powers from working immediately. Who knew that the universe's most powerful spirit can be so weak?"
"What-?!" She shot her powers in my wound both legs and a rib.
I sobbed in pain and screamed. She scoffed and just left me in agony.

I was too weak to power up and heal myself. The numbness from my broke bones became more and I bled out to unconsciousness.
