Part 27

POV: Alice
I'm 8 months pregnant and I have a bittersweet love for this. It's amazing because you can feel the baby kick sometimes but I hate it because I can't even normally come out of bed. Thomas always laughts at me for that, I can't blame him it probably looks ridiculous. I still can't believe I'm queen it's so weird but Thomas helps me a lot and I help him too. Thomas is a great king and he did so much for the people already. He made sure the farm people have a better life and and better house. The farm and city kids can go to school and they don't have to pay anything. People are getting more jobs and have more space to make their dreams come true. I can see when I go out in the city or little villages that people are happy and they thank me for that. I'm happy that our people are happy and so is Thomas. My mom has also a new job, she works at a school. She loves teaching new things to kids. Nova is also going to school and she is getting smarter by the day.

I'm in the kitchen helping the cooks and maids I like to help when I can because I can't sit still. They love it when I help too and I get to know them better. Eddie is the cook here in the castle and a really good friend of me. I can tell him everything and keeps it a secret. I love to just talk with people and see what others have on their minds. I was cutting some vegetable until I hear a familiar voice. "Miss your carriage is waiting." Lily said standing in the doorway. I was going to another kingdom to help them with their people and tell them how we helped our people. My first time away alone without Thomas to another kingdom. I was nervous but excited. Lily and Clare were going with me so that I'm not totally alone and ofcourse two guards. I said goodbye to my friend Eddie and walked with Lily towards the carriage. I was wearing a light blue dress not to heavy because I'm growing a human inside me. I stept in the carriage with Lily and Clare right behind me. When we were all set the carriage took off.

It was a long carriage ride but we were finally there. I stept out to see a beautiful castle on top of a hill. Lily and Clare both stood behind me. The guards would wait for us outside and if we needed them we just call them. "Is it just me or do I have a weird feeling about this place?" Clare said and I nodded in agreement. "Ah Miss Alice. your highness." A guy said and bowed then kissed my hand. I had know idea who this was and it freaked me out. "I am the kings personal butler. You can call me Henry." He said and made a sign for us to follow him. I was really happy Lily and Clare were with me or else I would go straight home. We walked inside this castle and it didn't look very welcoming. Everything was dark with weird and scary paintings on the walls, there were almost no windows here and it was also very cold, their were some torches on the walls, the carpet was red and went all the way up on the stairs. The butler told us to wait and so me and my maids were left alone. "Are you cold Alice?" Clare asked and I nodded yes while wrapping my arms around myself to keep me warm. Lily and Clare put a cloak around my shoulders to keep me warm. Then out of nowhere a guy stood on the top of the stairs. "Miss Alice, welcome in my kingdom." He said and walked down the stair towards us. He also bowed and then kissed my hand. "My name is king Nicolas." He said and smiled a really creepy smile at me. "Nice to meet you king Nicolas. These are my maids Lily and Clare." I said and introduced Lily and Clare to Nicolas. Nicolas looked at them and gave them both a kiss on their hands. I could see they both didn't like him. "Shall we go get to dinner and talk." He said putting out his arm and I took it politely. We went to the dinning room. He was sitting on the head of the table and I said on the edge just beside him. Lily and Clare at the end of the table and all different people between us. I was getting more and more scared but I tried to hid that.

After dinner was done and we talked about the things we needed to, I thanked him and told him I wanted to go home now. So I stood up but before I could  go, he grabbed my wrist really tide and pulled me closer to him. Now I was scared I could see Lily and Clare were also grabbed by two men. "Your not going anywhere my darling and don't even think about calling your guards because they are not gone help you now. " He said with a smirk and told his guards to lock us up. I was screaming hoping the someone would hear me. Tears streaming down my face and fear in my eyes. I tried to fight the guards just like Lily and Clare but they were to strong and so they took us away.
