Part 29

POV: Thomas
I think it is around 4pm now. I have been sitting here sinds morning and I don't feel my arms or lecks anymore. What is going on? That's all I want to know but Marco doesn't really want to talk. He keeps walking through the cabin and going outside. I hope Alice is okay and the baby. I was trying my best to get out of these ropes but he put them on tight. My only hope are my guards I guess. I told them I would be home around 3pm so I hope they are looking for me now. I told my guards were this cabin was, hey I'm not an idiot everything for my safety and that from Alice. Marco looks very nervous like he is afraid to do something wrong. Then I heard something that could be good or really bad, horses. Marco also heard it and looked out of the window he didn't look happy. He turned around towards me and pulled out his gun again. "I have no choice. He would kill me if I don't do it." He said with a bit of fear in his voice. 'What in the bloody hell is going on?' I thought. I closed my eyes not wanting to know when he pulled the trigger. I just need to accept that this is my faith. I thought about Alice and the first time I saw her by that lake. I thought about her telling me she was pregnant and how scared she was. I can't be there for her when the baby gets born. I can't hold her hand and tell her it is going to be okay. I can't she our little baby.

BOOM! BANG!

Pain shot through my body and I opened my eyes. I saw one of my guards infront of me and another one untying me. The doors had been kick down that must have been the boom I heard. An other guard grabbed Marco and pulled him out of the cabin. The guard infront of me was holding my stumach. I looked down and saw blood, I was shot but still alive. Every part of my body felt numb and I knew it was not long for I past out. "Find... Al... Alic..." I tried to speak but everything went black.

POV: Alice
It was getting late I think it's now 9pm maybe 10pm. I was getting tired and wanted to sleep but I was afraid of what would happen to me when I'm out. The baby was kicking as crazy I loved it. I sung it my fathers lullaby and it calmed the baby down more. I hope people at the castle would understand something is wrong. I just want to go home, back to my mother and sister, back to Eddie and ofcourse back to Thomas. I heard footsteps again and I couldn't believe my eyes, princess Helena. "How have you escaped?" I asked in fear. She opened the celldoor and came inside. "Thomas let me go but I couldn't stay in his kingdom so I came here." She said with a smirk. "Why would he do that?" I asked more to myself then her. "Because I promised him I would leave you and him alone. I lied." She laughed evil. Chills all over my body when I heard her laugh. "Nicolas needs a royal baby and I told him I knew someone who was royal and pregnant. We made a plan and here you are. As soon as you give birth to a new ruler, I'll take you with me." She told me stepping closer but is stept back until I hit the wall with my back. "Why don't you kill me already?" I asked with so much fear but I tried to be brave, she smiled like the devil. "Ohh, sweety. I'm not going to kill you. That would be to easy. I'll let you go through hell. You come with me and you'll will see what I'm talking about." She smirked but then I heard yelling and screaming from above the castle, it sounded like fighting. I was scared and shocked, Helena looked only angry with fire in her eyes. The door from my cell opened wide and I saw two of our kingdoms guards standing in the door way with sword in hand. Helena put me infront of her and put a dagger infront of my throat. I couldn't see the face from Helena so I couldn't tell if she was faking or not. "Miss it's over. Put the dagger down." One of my guards told Helena but she just grabbed me tighter. The guard was trying to calm Helena down but she didn't, she only got angrier. On that moment I could feel the baby kick and that brought me on a idea. When Helena and the guard kept talking I kicked Helena's leg, she stept back and dropped the dagger so I ran towards the guards. They made sure I was okay and then Helena ran towards us with the dagger high in her right hand. But before she could stab somebody, one of my guards already pierced her with a sword. She fell to the ground and let out a finale breath. Lily and Clare were okay thank god and Nicolas also died, actually most of the people in the castle. When I stept out of the castle it was already dark but I could see almost our whole army of guards standing there. I was just happy everything was okay and nobody got hurt. "Uhm... Miss Alice, your highness. Before we go home there is something you should know. King Thomas has been shot and is doing really bad there is a chance he doesn't make it." One of the guards said to me. I felt numb and fell to the ground a tear falling on my cheek. I didn't feel any emotion I was just numb.
