Part 12

POV: Alice
When we were back at the castle Thomas needed to do some stuff so I went to my room. I fell back on my bed and just dreamed about the picnic, he is so cute! I'm already falling for him, how? I met him yesterday! I can not fall for a guy I just met. What's happening to me? A knock on the door broke me from my thoughts. I said they could come in and sat up straight, Lily and Clare opened the door. "So? How was your date?" They both asked at the same time, what was a little creepy. "It was not a date. It was just a picnic with the two of us all alone, getting to know each other and he was being cute and OMG this was a date!" I said with wided eyes. The two girls giggled and sat next to me on the bed. "So? How was it?" Lily asked again, I laughed and fell back on my bed again. "It was so sweet and cute! He took me into the woods and had our picnic. Then I saw flowers and I made a flower crown. Thomas just looked at me and said 'Maybe one day I can make that into a real crown.' What does he mean?" I said dreamy. Lily and Clare just giggled. "Prince Thomas likes you!" Clare sceamed exited. "No way a prince likes me." I said back, now sitting up straight and looking at the two girls. "You said it yourself that you were on a date with him." Lily told me and that took me thinking. Does he really like me? "Do you know what. I just wait and see where this is going." I said and the girls agreed. We just had a little girl talk and it felt like I had two best friends.

After we talked the girls left to make dinner ready and I went to my desk to write my mother and sister.

Dear mother and sister,

Everything is good here! Prince Thomas took me out on a picnic in the woods. It was very sweet and cute. The ball was lovely, I danced with prince Thomas and I met the king and queen. Lily and Clare are really sweet for me and are now really good friends. I can tell them everything! I wish you would be here to hug me and tell me goodnight. Rose is still doing okay.

I miss you so much! Hope I can see you soon.

Next time Lily and Clare are here I can ask them if they can make sure this comes to my mother and sister. I put the letter away and went to my window. I sat down and looked at the beautiful garden down me. My mind took over again and I thought about Thomas. 'Could he really like me? I mean I'm just a farm girl. Do I like him? I mean we just met. Ughhh why does he have to be so charming?' Then I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I said and expecting it to be Lily and Clare but it wasn't them.

"Thomas?" I said kinda shocked. "What are you doing here?" I asked again this time standing up from the window and with a smile. "I had some time and wondered if you wanted to walk in the garden with me?" He said, I nodded with a smile and he put out his arm for me to grab it. We walked out of my room with guards following. The guards are always close to Thomas to make sure he is not getting hurt or worse.
