Chapter 24: Day of the Cruise

After two days Marshall was finally feeling better and just in time since the cruise was today. In the past few days the pups took turns from looking after Marshall in the morning and evening. The pups were at the pier where the cruise ship is, to say goodbye to the four. It was especially windy today blowing from the sea, the smell of sea water and fresh air is very relaxing.

"Well have a nice trip pups! We'll take care of adventure bay while you're away." Ryder said while handing the luggage to Chase and Marshall.

"Yeah don't worry, we've got it under control!" Rocky said.

" Thanks Ryder pups!" Everest said.

"Yeah we'll be back soon." Marshall added.

"I weally wish we could come too though but ... I guess it's fine." Zuma said as he shrugged.

" Yeah I really wanna try the buffet!" Ruble said making all of them laugh.

" Oh no! Wait! I forgot to tell Jake!" Everest suddenly exclaimed.

" Don't worry I contacted him last night and he says you have fun, and also look after Marshall." Ryder winked.

"Well tell him I won't let him out of my sight." Everest winked back.

" Uh guys I think we better go." Skye interrupted.

"Yeah see you Ryder, pups! BYE! We'll miss you!" Marshall said pulling Everest and their luggage towards the entrance. Chase and Skye followed with theirs.

Ryder and the pups: "Byeeee!!!" They all yelled as they waved good bye.

The ship starts moving out of the dock, and into sea.

"We better head back, we can always check on them with their pup tags." Ryder said, the other pups nodded.

"Ok" the rest of the pups said.

*Rubles tummy rumbles
"Hey Ryder could we pick up some pizza for the road? My tummy is already missing them" Ruble said as they all chuckled.

" hahaha, Sure Ruble." Ryder said as they got into their vehicles.

Meanwhile:

"Ahhh.... The smell of fresh air, and sea breeze." Skye said feeling the wind blowing her ear.

"Aahh..." The rest of them inhaled deeply.
Then went inside the ship.

" Um, does anyone know where our rooms are?" Chase asked looking around.

" Yeah their over there." Skye pointed to the left hallway.

"Wait.. Are we all in the same room?" Marshall asked.
"Why do you ask?" Chase suddenly thought of something that made him blush, and so does the rest.

"W-wait no that's not what I meant!" Marshall hurriedly tried to explain guessing that they got the message wrong.

"Actually we have two separate rooms next to each other." Skye said pushing aside the thought.

" We should probably unpack our stuff now. Come on Marshall!" Everest Suggested, as she pulled Marshall towards the next room.

"Wooow, Ok, ok I'm coming!" Marshall replied while trying to keep up.

" We should get ready too." Skye said walking to the first room. Chase silently followed. As they entered a spacious bedroom . Two white beds, a big wardrobe, dark wooden floor, and a flat screen TV came to their view.

"Wooow..." Both of them couldn't help but exclaim.

" This is pretty fancy." Skye said looking around.
