Chapter 6: Lonely Night

Still Chase's POV:

"To be honest though I don't think she likes me. " He said.

" I doubt that, she was the one who looked worried the most about you, more than me.
". I said, know that think about it, it sounded wrong.

" Really? " He asked his ears perked up.

" Really. You gotta ask her if she like you too." I stopped for a moment and looked at. The calendar on his wall.

" I got it! Ask her to be your Valentine's date!" I exclaimed.

"It is almost here..." he thought for a moment.

" Ok but on one condition, you and skye are coming." He demanded.

" Umm... fine! but you gotta help me deal?" I asked.

" Deal!" He agreed.

As I got back to my pup house, Skye walked in and snuggled beside me, which stunned me of course!

"Um.. S-skye? w-hat are you doing?" I asked, my heart is like a jackhammer right now.

" Oh I just thought I'd keep you company tonight, I can't sleep for some reason ." She said her eyes getting drowsy.

" U-um ok sure... If that's what you want*gulp*." I said with a gulp.

She started looking around my pup house.
"You've got a big house, bigger than mine at least." She said.

" Thanks." I said forcing a smile as her eyes kept wandering until she stood up and looked looked at the back.

"Umm... Chase? Is this my old swim-cap?"
She asked pulling out a pink, flower designed swimmingcap.

"Uh-um yes?" I can feel my face burning, I've never been this embarrassed in my life, and I mean that.

"What's it doing here?" She asked looking back at me.

" I- uh- I can explain!" I said my face is still burning with embarrassment.

"It's ok, you can have it, I have another one anyway." She smiled and winked at me. She put my swimmingcap back- I mean! Her swimmingcap back and laid down beside me again.

" By the way, can you repeat what you said to me this morning?" She asked with a teasing tone. Of course it sounded a little softer since everyone is sleeping.

I knew I won't get out of this one so I just went with it.

"Umm... Ok.....Uh- um... Cute face... ." I said
Trying to hide my blush.

"Thanks you're so sweet." I could swear I saw her blush a little, maybe it's all in my head.
but before I could say anything else I noticed she's already asleep.
"Hey fur is so soft. . .
Oh right the door!" I thought.
As I was about to close the door, I saw Everest walking by towards a red pup house.

EVEREST POV:

It was windy outside so I decided to sleep in the lookouts first floor.
However as hard as I tried I couldn't, I felt alone and scared for some reason, I always hated being alone, it brings back the time when I was still in the Antarctic, and
I couldn't get Marshalls song out of my head. It took me a while when I finally decided to go.
As I looked out the window I saw skye walking towards Chase's pup house.
Probably for the same reason as me.
I got down careful not to attract attention or make a noise, and knocked on Marshalls pup house.

" Come in..." He said in a rather sleepy tone.
He opened his door and slowly looked up.

" EVEREST?! Uumm... What are doing here?" He asked I thought his face was getting redder, Probably just my imagination.

"O couldn't sleep, I'm too scared and alone up there. Can I sleep with you tonight? " I asked quite nervous.

End POV.

MARSHALL POV:

" Um.. sure.. " I said but rather unsure.
"Ok stay cool, it's only a sleep over between friends.. kinda... Ugh! Focus Marshall!" I thought to my self.

She walked in and nuzzled next to me, I put my blanket over her soft fluffy fur.

" If you wanted company, why not go to Skye?" I asked in a soft tone.

"I would but she's with Chase. " She said

" haha Skyse? " I asked.

" hehe Skyse" we chuckled and talked about how silly they are for not realizing that they both love each other. (A/n: 😏)

I was getting lost in her eyes, which look like a circle of pure ice, but her words were still Cristal clear to my ears.
Until I heard her ask me that made my furs stand up.

" Can you.. sing for me?..."
