....

(A/n: Warning if you're still under 13 years old -which you seriously shouldn't be reading Wattpad under that age- I  suggest you think twice before you read this since I can't promise that I can make this as less violent as possible. Read at own risk. You have been warned)

Marshall POV:

It was the middle of the night. I woke up as I intended to. I got up and walked out of the cabin leaving Everest to herself.

The sky was filled with oceans of stars, which could be said the same for the literal ocean, since their reflection also made the sea look like an upside down night sky.

Looking at the beach it was lit up by the moon light. It was actually not that dark as I expected it.
I walked further away from the shorelines and further away from the cabins.

"Hopefully they won't notice that I'm gone for a while..." I muttered to myself.
I started to imagine things that might trigger my powers like some sad times I've been through, or maybe losing someone I care about but... It didn't work.
No matter what I think of or imagine being it losing my parents or me it wouldn't work. I was ready to just give up and go back, as my last attempt I thought of something else... If we were back in those situations... and I didn't have my power, what would have happened to us? What would happen to her or to our friends?
We could have died then and there if it wasn't for this!
If we were in a situation like that again...and I can't control this thing, what would happen then?

Just then images of Everest within a black medium coffin, while her eyes closed never to be opened again, her body cold and paler, and there were no signs of moving flashed through my mind. I was enough to send a tear down my face and I didn't notice it either.

That thought was definitely the worst I could imagine if not more...
However I did noticed the sudden change in temperature and my whole body was turned white.

I wiped away my tears and reminded myself it was nothing but my own imagination, which helped calm me down a bit.

"I never thought I'd be using it so often." I first started to feel the power flow through me. It felt ... Warm, which isn't surprising since I'm supposed to be burning hot through my surroundings right now. I  can even see the nearby sea water evaporate.

"Alright, now to business." I looked over across the vast, deep body of water and started to see if I could spot any island. But I couldn't really see anything from this far.
I tried to teleport over the water as far as I could to see if there's anything to see if I go further.

"Still nothing. I guess we're further from home than I thought." I would have wanted to go a hundred meters further but I could already feel the backlash.

In the end I decided to teleport back to the island and cancel it. "Dangit! It looks like we can't really get off this island until help arrives!" I was surprised to hear myself say that.

"I guess this getting stuck on an island is getting me more worked up than I thought..." I also noticed that I didn't really feel too tired after that. "Maybe because I didn't stay in that form for too long?"

Since there isn't really much to do I decided to use it again. I 'played' around with is for a few seconds and tested it a few times just to see what I could actually do.

"Let's see. I can basically burn anything, I can levitate, teleport to a certain distance, make a protective bubble, and I could create some sort of incinerating force paw. So far the only downside I see in me using this power is that I loose all my energy really fast." I started to wonder.
"Was father really just afraid of the things it did to me, or because he didn't trust me to be able to control it before?" This is giving me a headache, which is rare for me unless I literally have a headache.
"Aargh! I just wanna go back home!"I shouted which was overshadowed by another shout.
