~Y/n POV~
We all look at Ercole in shock
"What? You? Pay for Alberto? Are we in some sort of sick dream?" Luca says before Giulia smacks the back of his head
"He's serious fish brain!" Giulia says before turning to Ercole
"Do you even have that much money?" She asks and he somewhat nods
"I mean it's most of my allowance and a bit of my parents money but it's uh....it's ok..." Ercole says, the last bit nervously
I raise an eyebrow until I look over at Giulia and see she's smiling at Ercole while Luca...is standing behind her glaring, I grab Luca's arm and pull him away from her. Just in time too, because after I pulled Luca away Giulia ran over and hugged Ercole
"Thank you!" Giulia says, Ercole stands shocked for a second before hugging her back
"Wha—" Luca begins but I quickly shush him
"Alright let's go and get your brother back" Ercole says as he pulls back from the hug, red faced
I smirk and wiggle my eyebrows at Ercole and he glares at me before turning away and beginning to create a plan with Massimo
"Don't encourage him to have a crush on Giulia!" Luca whispers to me with furrowed eyebrows
I smirk and roll my eyes before blowing a raspberry at him. He blows a raspberry back and we continue to go back and forth before Giulia stops me
"If you two are done, Ercole and my dad finished up their plan and wanna go over it with everybody" she says while giving us an unimpressed look. We both quickly rush over
"Alright so since the seller doesn't seem to like Y/n that much after what happened, Y/n and Giulia will stay here at the boat. Mr. And Mrs. Paguro said that earlier when them and Luca were out scouting the area they saw people take Alberto out of a shed and then to that big Curtain place where us four were," Ercole says and I see Luca tilt his head down
I grab his hand and reassuringly squeeze it, he slightly looks up at me and smiles before squeezing my hand back
"So me and Massimo will go back in with a sack filled with the supposed money but it's actually just dried seaweed, and we'll be careful to look out for Aaron and his parents since they could come back since that guy is Aaron's uncle. Luca and His parents will go back towards that shed area in case all hell breaks loose and they try to rush Alberto back into the shed but you three will stop them and get Alberto out, but remember that's only IF all hell breaks loose" Ercole says pointing at Luca and his parents and they all nod
"How do you know this plan will work?" Giulia asks
"I have no idea if it'll work petardo(firecracker)—Giulia." Ercole corrects before clearing his throat
I hold back Luca as Giulia blushes slightly before lightly slapping herself then refocusing on what we were all talking about. I see Massimo step forward a little and I shake my head 'no' and glare at him slightly, I can tell he contemplates on whether or not to listen to me but in the end he does listen to me.
"Anyways...Let's get this rescue mission out into complete action everybody!" I say to distract everyone from the awkward moment that just happened
"Alright!" Everyone cheers before Luca jumps into the water with his parents and they swim off
Me and Giulia sit down in the boat before Massimo and Ercole walk off back in the direction of the market
"Soooo you think this plan will work?" I ask her and she sighs
"I don't know, I mean Ercole hasn't seemed to be the smartest of the bunch since the day I met him but today I just...."she trails off
"You say him in a different light?" I ask while smirking
"Yeah.....I mean NO! What?! Ew!! He's still a bully Y/n!" She says to me as he cheeks turn a light shade of pink
"Uh huh ok sure" I say
"Look, even I did, quote on Quote, 'Like' Ercole I couldn't date him! My dad still hates him after what he did five years ago, Alberto still hates him after what he did five years ago and Luca still hates him after what he did five years ago!! Everybody still hates him!" She says before slumping back into her seat
"Yet after all that, Ercole is still the one walking in there and was willing to pay almost one-million dollars for Alberto" I say with a raised eyebrow and a smug smile
"Well...maybe he..! I just! I don't like him!!" She says with a face as red as her hair
"Uh huh, and your face, that might I add that is as red as your hair, isn't a big give away that you do, in fact, like Ercole" I say and she shoves me as I burst out laughing
But my laughing is soon drowned out by all the yelling, scream and gun shots coming from the market...
