Chapter 2: Arrving

~Y/n POV~

I woke up to someone lightly shoving my shoulder

"Ma'am?....Hello Ma'am" the lady said as I slowly open my eyes and look around the see where I am

"Huh? Oh? I'm so sorry!" I say as I come to my senses and try to quickly get my stuff together

"Oh no Ma'am it's ok! Here let me help!" She says as she gets my carry ons from above and I stand up and politely grab them

"Thank you so much!" I say as I give her a nervous smile

"It's quiet alright Ma'am!" She says as she gives me a warm smile in return

I make my way off the plane and look around for the luggage receiver (I forgot what it's called) as I look around though I notice some things are in a different language....Crap

"Ok ok this is fine Y/n just ask somebody where you can go to get your luggage, yeah! Sounds easy enough!" I say to myself as I begin to walk up to somebody to ask for help but then recoil my hand and continue walking

"Nope Nope Nope!" I say quickly "Translating app please be my friend!" I say hopefully as I grab my phone

~Time Skip~

Let's just say it took me 2 and a half hours to find the goddamn luggage receiver! And now it's night! Great!

I groan and walk outside and wait for a cab since apparently Italy doesn't have Ubers

As my Cab arrives I show them where I need to go

"Oh Missy you have to take a boat to where your going. Yeah that place right there is on a little island" the man says as he begins to drive

My eyes twitches as I mentally scream and cuss "do you know any boats that can take me there?" I ask him

"Oh uh...I have a buddy that could probably take you" the man says

"Oh thank you! You just made my day— well night...better" I say as I get out my phone and watch Tik Toks and YouTube to pass the time

~Time Skip to Middle of Ocean~

"So...you ever heard of sea monsters?" The man asks me as I shake my head 'no'

"Oh ho go then your in for a surprise with this island" he says as he smiles a creepy AF smile

"Hehe....yeah..." I say as I look anywhere but him

After a few minutes I see lights in the distance and assume that's the Place, as he continues driving the boat we pass by this tower type structure and for a split second I swear I see a shadow with a tail?

I shake my head and focus on the incoming Village? Idk

The Man parks the boat and I hop out as quickly as I can "uh thanks Mister for driving(?) me over here" I say as I grab my wallet to give him some money

"Bah! Keep the money kid" the man says before he drives off back in the direction that we came

"Ooooook" I say as I turn on my heel and begin to walk towards the center of town

As I get closer to the center of the town I see something I never thought I would've...

"Wow...that man wasn't lying when he said I was gonna be in for a surprise..." I quietly said as I watched the sea monsters play with the little kids
