My favorite superhero
isn't from Marvel or D.C.,
but it's someone I daily see.
My favorite hero
is every person on the street;
it's everyone
I have the pleasure to meet.
'Cause we're all superheroes in the end,
hoping our sword doesn't bend.
We fight monsters
and demons nonetheless,
deadlines, tests,
and a whole lot of stress.
But we're still here,
alive and maybe well.
To me, you'll always be my hero,
can't you tell?
