A Very Serious Golden Guard/Hunter x Reader

Just as you were settling onto the couch to hang out with the others, maybe play some minecraft on Luz's playstation, the front door was kicked down with about 2000 newtons of force. It flew off its hinges and into the fireplace.

"Bitch tf that was made of ivory????" said Amity, annoyed.

"Y/N" cried a familiar voice. Standing where the door was a minute ago was Golden Guard. "BY ORDER OF THE EMPEROR YOURE COMING WITH ME"

"What why??!" you exclaimed. "He let me escape the other times! Why do you keep arresting me just to let me go again?"

"UH" GG was silent for a moment. He kinda looked like he was trembling. "Thats confidential"

"Dont worry Y/N" said Luz, stepping between you and him. "Nobody's gettingarrested today!"

"No you dont understand" started gg

"CAN IT!" said Amity, rushing to Luz's side. "Lets get him!"

"YAAaaaah!" Luz and Amity started casting fire and abomination spells all over the room in no particular direction.

"NO WAIT" yelled golden guard, sounding similar to a little girl. "I'M UNARMED, SEE!?"

The witches stopped their magic. He was, in fact, without his staff.

"Thank you" he said. "Y/N, listen, I was wrong earlier"

"UH... about what?" you asked.

"You know."

"The Ed Sheeran song?"

"Wh- no! You know... the thing I said you know"

"No, I dont know!"

"Ugh..." he sighed. "When I said I didnt like you. Like half an hour ago. I was wrong, okay?"

Everyone in the room gasped.

"Umm, we'll just go" said Luz, stepping into another room with Amity.

"Anyway.." he continued. "I guess what I'm trying to say is..."

"You do like me?" you said. "But... then why did you say you didnt before?"

"Well... I knew I couldnt be in love with a human because theyre banned, so i tried pushing you away. But after I uh, persuaded Belos with my brilliant argumentative skills, he said it was okay!"

You gasped. "Thats great goldie!"

"What"

"Oh uh can I call you that? or do you have an actual name"

He shrugged.

"okay. well then... I'm assuming you want me to come back then?"

"If you want to" he responded.

You smiled, but it quickly faltered. "Wait, but i have to get back to the human realm!"

"Oh, I suppose you do." He looked out the window. The sun was close to the horizon, nearly at setting point. "Well, what do you say we spend the rest of this day together before then?"

It was possible you'd never see GG again after returning home. There was no chance for a relationship. But maybe these few hours would be worth it.
