Acacia's POV

"What - what are you singing?" The prisoner asked.

I whirled around frantically.

Too late, I realized that I wasn't wearing my hood. I quickly tugged my mask over my face so he couldn't see me, but it was too late.

Whoever we were holding captive had seen my face, and he clearly now knew that his captor was only a teenage girl.

"Y-you're m-my age!" He stuttered. "Younger!"

I cursed loudly in Dragonese, knowing that it was too late to do anything about it now.

"Acacia, language." Azure's sleepy voice murmured. Slowly she raised her head and blinked her eyes open.

Quickly she took in the situation. Me, glaring at my captive with only part of my disguise on. The prisoner, staring at me with wide eyes and mouth agape. Then my dragon cursed too.

I was too upset to teasingly scold her with a "Language"  of my own.

"Who are you?" The boy inquired, no longer seeming worried about me killing him.

I opened my mouth to come up with a retort, when I heard something else. Man, my day just keeps getting better and better.

"Acacia?" Vera's voice came from somewhere outside the prison. "Everything alright?"

"Yeah!" I immediately called back, trying to sound confident. Vera and I are so close we're like sisters, but anyone with siblings would know that sometimes you don't tell them things. If Vera found out that I had dropped my guard and let the prisoner see my face, I would probably be in trouble. And not just with V, too. Everyone. Until I got this sorted out, I would keep it to myself.

"You sure? We can switch now," she offered, which I was quick to decline.

"Nah, I'm good."

Thankfully this seemed to satisfy her, as she called, "Ok," right before the sound of dragon wings.

I took a breath, then remembered my original problem.

"Can you speak dragon?" A voice came, and I sighed internally.

"Obviously," I said, turning back to my prisoner. Ugh, I really needed to get his name. I couldn't just keep calling him 'prisoner' and 'boy'.

"Who are you?" He pressed, clearly not planning on giving up without an answer.

"You tell me your name first." I demanded.

"Ok," He responded easily, and I blinked at how quickly he gave in. "My name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Stoick the Vast, Chief of Berk, and leader of the Dragon Riders." He nodded to me. "Your turn."

I gaped. I couldn't help it. Luckily he couldn't see with my mask.

No one just gives up that information to someone who is holding them captive! At least, not without a fight. The pris- no, Hiccup, must either be very new to this or just very stupid. And, for some reason, the names he mentioned sounded very familiar.

"I-I'm not telling you who I am."

"Ok," Hiccup shrugged as well as he could with his hands tied. "Then tell me how you know that song."

"What?" I asked, utterly confused. "Why do you care?"

"Because," Hiccup said, leaning forward. "That song is the song of the chief's of Berk. The only people in the world who should know that song are my father, our friend Gobber, and me. So how do you know it?"

I opened my mouth, then closed it. I wanted to tell him that he should be a smart prisoner and mind his own business, but at the same time, I didn't know how I knew that song. It had just popped up in my dream, and I felt like it was important. Maybe this boy could help me figure it out.

Uncertain, I turned to Azure.

My dragon was even more of a sister to me then Vera, or any of the other Dragon Pirates. I told her everything. She was the only one besides me who knew about the dream I had been having. She would be the only one who could help with a decision like this.

I didn't even have to say anything aloud to ask her. Azure caught my eye and nodded. The look in my eyes must've said everything she needed to know.

I took a deep breath. I turned to Hiccup, but I kept my head down, finding my hands suddenly very interesting.

In response to his question, I said, "I don't. I... I've been having this dream recently. And in it, was the song." For a second I hesitated, but then I continued. "I guess, I'm only telling you this because, if that song is special, and you know it, then maybe...." I trailed off, unsure what to say next.

"What's the dream about?" Hiccup asked.

I wavered for a second, then explained it all.
