This is a work of complete fiction. Any characters, places, or events relating to anyone, alive or dead, is completely unintentional and complete coincidence.

What do you do when your eyes are sickly fluorescent green and violet, your canines are sharp and pointed? What do you do when your very curly, bushy hair is blacker than the blackest of black and your lips are the color of blood?

Thats right. You scare people.

No, I'm not a vampire. I'm not a witch, wizard, or monster. I know for a fact that on the inside, I am an ordinary human being. I drool over the same latest hot celebrities and listen to the same popular music, dress in the same latest fashions, go to the mall, the movies, and do everything else a normal teenager does.

I just look terrifying.

People walking quickly away in the opposite direction when I approach them. Having the seat diagonal to mine, the next to me, and the seat in front of me to myself in the very back of the classroom at my school. Having my teachers fidget uncomfortably, checking their watches and shifting their weight from one foot to the other as I talk to them, trying to avoid looking at me as they answer my questions.

No, this is not going to be some happy story when there is some outcast sitting all alone in the cafeteria and some girl comes up to her and says hi and the rest is history. This is not going to be some romance where the outsider girl is teamed up with the hottest, most popular boy in school for a science project in biology and they fall in love, shack up and fuck. No way.

This is a story of me. Just me. Nobody else comes in and saves me from a lonely life. Nope. I save myself.

See That Terrible Monster of a Girl in the Corner? Yeah. That's Me. (StillOnHoldWhere stories live. Discover now
