Chapter 18
“Wait no you can’t do that to her” Annis said.
“Yeah we still want her to babysit us” Kendra said.
“No we made up our minds and we will find a new babysitter” Mr. Brown said.
“If we can’t have Makaylah as our babysitter then we will not go home with you” Trevor said and went next to my side.
“Yeah I agree” Kendra said.
“Yeah me too” Xavier crossed his arms.
“No you are going home with us and that is final” Mrs. Wilson exclaimed and tried to grab her child but he wouldn’t move.
“Let’s go son” Mrs. Wilson stretched out her hand to Trevor.
“No I’m staying with Makaylah because she truly loves me and takes time out just for me” Trevor said.
“Yeah” all the kids said in unison with agreement.
The parents left but told Makaylah they will be getting their children back one way or another.
I sat down on the couch and watched the kids play. In my mind I thought “What am I going to do with four kids. I’ve never been a parent before.”
Zack saw me so in thought and decided to sit next to me and see what was wrong.
“What are you thinking about?” Zack asked.
“I don’t know how to take care of four kids” I frowned and shook my head.
“Of course you do that’s what you have been doing when you were babysitting them” he smiled.
“I guess you’re right but still their parents will hire some expensive lawyer that will win and get their children back” I said.
“Don’t worry baby I’ll handle this and it’s going to be okay” Zack embraced me and gave me a kiss.
