Angelica's POV |

The next day I woke up and began getting ready for work. While brushing my teeth as the hot steamy air cleared in the bathroom, I thought about leaving early to grab a drink at Starbucks.

So, I grabbed my Starbucks drink and made my way to work. Around the time I got in the tattoo shop, I heard a bit of.. commotion going on. Curious as to what was going on, I crept into the shop.

The front door's bell rang louder than I thought and when I peeked through the door, I saw just about everyone staring at me.

I awkwardly smiled and waved to everyone confused as to what was going on. A woman was nicely dressed in a red dress that detailed her curves so exquisitely. Her brownish hair was straightened like a bone and her skin had a thin tan to it. Her brown eyes pierced in my soul and it seemed as if she hated me.

Vinnie just shook his head in between his fingers while his eyes were closed. Chloe was getting the drama in from a distance and Andrei looked like he was trying to stop the event. The customers were calm and collected and I wanted to make sure it stayed that way.

I walked towards the back room, but the next sentence out of this woman's mouth paused me.

"Was it's her? Is she the one you-"

Her finger darted at me but Vinnie grabbed her and they both walked past me before she could finish her sentence. Her eyes never left mine as the both of them walked past. She was filled with anger and I had a feeling that I was somehow included in it.

Was she...Vinnie's girlfriend? Did I almost sleep with a cheater?

Everyone was a bit shook, but we all quickly acted as if nothing happened and minded our business. Yet, as I was answering the phone, I could still hear them slightly raise their voice.

Finally, minutes go by and a door slammed. The woman walked out furious and she avoided eye contact with me. Vinnie followed out the back room not too far behind her. He looked stressed, but then he walked my way.

"I lied, today you'll be my apprentice."

He effortlessly motioned for me to follow him into his studio. He first sighed, then began talking about the client he had booked for today.

Although that sounded fun, I was just curious about how he was able to be such a bad person.

"So, was I your little distraction from her? Are you a cheater?" I questioned him with a little attitude.

His face twisted and he rolled his eyes at my remark, ignoring me and continuing to explain his client's tattoo, lazily.

"I asked a question, Binnie," I spoke his name wrong on purpose to Bug him.

He stopped talking and stopped cleaning his supplies to looked me right in my face.

"Look, Angeliblaa. You don't know shit about me, and I'd love for it to stay that way, but unfortunately, you won't let it be that way. I'm not a cheater. D found your dress and assumed, that's all. We didn't even mess around, so what does it matter to you?" He smartly questioned me, getting pissed off at me.

"Because I can't stand cheaters? But can you blame me? She looked me dead in my eyes as if I attacked her." I accidentally gave him too much attitude, bucking my head forward at him while side eyeing him.

He scuffed and continued cleaning his supplies before his client came in. The booth had a disgusting-awkward chill to it, and I hated it.
