DISCLAIMER!! Angelica crying wasn't a pick me girl move, it's related to her past that you might reveal soon. I promise we have to get through this awkward stage first, then things will add up!

Angelica's POV |

I wiped my warm tears away with my ice-cold hand. And didn't dare to turn around and face Vinnie. I couldn't believe I just cried in front of him. I shouldn't touch Wine and go outside with it, I'm a mess.

"I'm sorry for....y'know. I just-"

*ping* my notification went off. It was Chloe responding 10 minutes late. I slid my notification wall to see her message.

------
"Wanna plan to hang out sometime?"

"Sure <3"

-------

"So, is Vinnie your actual name?" I tried to break this confusing tension with a little Q and A.

"Oh-I go by Vinnie but it's actually Vincent-" he cleared his throat.

"Hey-uh Vincent, we should talk more. You're cool when your not a passive asshole." I let his name roll off my tongue.

After wiping my soaked eyelashes, I turned around with a clear smile on my face. My contagious smile spread to his and we both smiled at each other.

Suddenly, Vinnie's screen door closed, and a woman in a lingerie robe wrapped her arms behind him. She actually looked like the girl that he was at the shop arguing with.

Her arms rolled all over his body and he slowly closed his eyes before turning her way. Since I felt that staying out there wasn't my part anymore, I quietly walked back inside my apartment, wondering what I just did.

Everything in that moment just flashed back. One moment I was fine, but the other I was quietly sobbing on the inside. I didn't want to talk about it...not yet.

When I rose from my bed, my head began to pound. I was nauseous, thirsty, and sensitive to light and sound-all in one.

"Fuck," I sighed before groaning and placing my hand over my head. Everything around felt like it wanted to spin, and if I were to stand up, I knew my head would explode.

After taking some pain relief and getting through my hangover, I shot Carma a text asking for us to hang out.

She agreed and came over in a hurry. It had been a whole week without us hanging out, and we were struggling. We both decided to buy some new clothes at the mall and have the time of our lives.

"Ouuu can we go into Rue 21?" I begged Carma after slurping on my slushie. She smiled before rolling her eyes and letting me drag her into the store.

While I was matching one of the shirts to my size, I spot Chloe. She was walking backward so I assumed she was talking to someone.

When they finally walked fully in my view from the clear glass at the front of the store, I spotted Andrei, Vinnie, and the woman from the other night.

The woman had her arm wrapped around Vinnie, cuddling on him and he was walking and talking to Andrei and Chloe. I was too embarrassed from last night to say anything, so I kept my mouth shut and looked neutral.

My eyes followed them as they walked past, but somehow Vinnie was searching his surroundings and his eyes spotted mine.

"Hello?" Carma waved in my face to get my attention. I shook my head before looking her way and looking for what she wanted.

"Oh, say that again-" I almost stuttered, hoping Vinnie wouldn't walk over here.

"I asked if you like these hats. Everyone wears them and..." the rest of her words kind of blurring in my mind. I nodded so she wouldn't feel offended, but my mind was so occupied today. The hangover still stuck to my brain, so I wasn't feeling too hot.

"Oh my gosh!! Hey Angelica!! When Vinnie said he spotted you, I didn't believe it but here you are!!" Chloe squealed at the front of the store catching me off guard.

My eyes widened as I came back to reality from the inside of my mind. Carma looked at me confused before looking at Chloe who was walking towards us with the whole group.
