Angelica's POV |

With the new year rolling through, I had my first client. When I first found out - I was extremely thrilled. It had been a long time since I've seen my art on someone else.

Over the days that went by, I had my first scheduled appointment. They emailed me the design and I sketched it on the transfer paper until I felt it was perfect.

While standing and chatting with Chloe, a woman walked through the door. She was beautiful.

Her straight red hair flowed as she walked and sunglasses that say on her nose, making her look so classy. She wore streetwear but a top that showed her belly piercing and curves.

"Hello," she approached us, tilting her sunglasses down. Her aura screamed Confidence and it took mine down at the same time.

Chloe and I looked at each other before we look at her greeting her.

"Hi, I'm Angelica and This is Chloe. How can we help you?"

"Perfecta, I'm Harlee and I was looking for you, Angelica. I booked the appointment?" Her Latin accent poked out on her Ls.

"Okay, give me one second and I'll get our area set up."

As I was cleaning my items, both Harlee and I were laughing our asses off. She was extremely hilarious and I'm sure a few people heard out laughs in the shop.

"And then my brother started laughing, saying that our ma was going to beat my burro." She laughed explaining her flashback of how her family felt about her tattoos.

"What about your tattoos. They're very beautiful."

"They're only stories and memories. I think I might get a new one. Im not sure." I sat down, preparing her skin.

As we continued to talk, Vinnie knocked on the door that was cracked open.

"Come in"

When the door opened at first, he looked at me, but then he looked at Harley - taking a double look. The way his eyes drew to her made me feel more jealousy toward her and anger toward him.

"Vinnie?" she asked, standing up from the tattoo chair and slowly walking towards them. I remained in my seat, confused about why they were now hugging.
