Clay makes the drive home that night, his thoughts stuck on Ash and Eve. He couldn't help the smile that spread across his face as relived the possibility of living with them. He realized it would be tough helping Ash raise Evelyn but he's lovesick, what can he say?

He gets home that night and couldn't help the restless sleep that follows his long day. He understood the reason behind Ash not wanting to call him when she was on the verge of breaking, but it didn't mean he likes her reason, that being she doesn't like being a burden. After trying to sleep for a couple of hours, he decided to get up and code a plugin for his next video as he couldn't sleep anymore. He was too excited to see Ash and Eve.

If people knew his situation they'd probably call him crazy or call him a simp and would probably tell him that this girl is not worth it. However, ever since Clay had met Ash almost a year ago, he couldn't help but be drawn to her. Her presence was almost all-consuming and he couldn't help it he was drawn to drown in her light. The way spoke, sing, joked, and just her character overall drew him in. They say it only takes four minutes to fall in love the moment he met her in person, he can confirm he sped run falling in love with this lovely girl. Her smile could brighten even the darkest room, her comforting touch could solve any problem, and the way she walks with the confidence of the world, who was he to even attempt to deny his feelings even if he was called a simp.

He's brought out of his love-sick daydream by a discord call ringing through his headset. He quickly switches tabs to discord, hoping that it would be Ash.

"Hello," Clay says, answering the call.

"Dreammmmm, you didn't tell goggy or I how your day went with Dream Girl," Sapnap asks.

"Sorry, Nick, I can't explain how I'm feeling at this moment," Clay pauses, leaning back in his chair. "She's giving me a chance, well whatever we are she's giving us a chance. I... I love her, Nick."

"You haven't even been on a date yet, though," Nick points out.

"We've been on a date," Clay mutters.

"You didn't tell me that, but still one day of you giving it a chance and you love her?"

"I can't explain it."

"What if it doesn't turn out the way you want and your left to deal with the outcome? What if it's like las-"

"Please don't mention that, she was not in the best mental state and you and I both know it's for the best that what happened, happened," Clay says, tersely.

"Sorry, Clay, I shouldn't have brought her up," Nick pauses. "But you'll have a lot to lose this time if it doesn't work out. And, Clay, as much as you don't want to hear it, Ash will choose Evelyn over you, and you have to be able to deal with that."

"I'm ready to face that," Clay says, firmly.

"If this doesn't work out it will be a lot worse, Evelyn will lose a potential father figure, are you ready to pick up the role of being a dad? And you'll lose your Dream Girl."

"Nick, I know. I can't help but feel like these two girls are end game and I need them in my life, no matter the cost," Clay asserts.

"I get it Dream, now don't speed run this, focus on communication and both of you guys' feelings," Nick suggests.

"Thank you, Nick. I feel like I can actually sleep now," Clay chuckles.

"Well sleep, trust me you need your beauty sleep, you're not George, you don't have pretty privilege," Sapnap snickers.

"Yeah cuz I'm no pretty, I'm hot," Clay chuckles, shifting his headset.

"Whatever, Pissbaby, go to bed," Sapnap mutters, rolling his eyes.

"Night, Nick."

"Night, Clay," Nick says before the call is ended and Clays left, staring at his discord,
