Klaus' POV
I walked inside the house after my walk with the girls. Maya was in front of me critiquing our painting as I held Hope and Edythe.
"Over all it's pretty good. We did an excellent job on the painting" Maya looked up at me with a smile. I put Hope and Edythe down and I brushed Maya's hair out of her eyes.
"I'm not sure what you do at night so you may chose as to whether or not you all want to take a shower before bed" they smiled and ran off to what I assumed is their rooms.
I stood there like an idiot until she showed up. "I think you're obsessed" I smiled "is it that obvious?" I asked ashamed and she smiled her sweet smile "you know most people seek help once they start seeing dead people. You however embrace seeing dead people" Elena put her hair behind her ear and I smiled.
"Not dead people just you my love" she gave me her concerned face "Klaus this isn't healthy. You've gotta let me go" let her go. Every part of me told me to let her go, every part except my cold fragile heart. "Elena I don't think my heart can handle that" "what heart?" She smiled and walked over to me.
"Klaus I love you and I'm always gonna love you" she sighed "even when you let me go I'll still love you" I sighed looking everywhere but at her "that's not what I'm afraid of" "then what is it Klaus?" I looked up to see her already staring at me "I'm afraid I'll forget you".
She smiled "there's pictures" "no I'm talking about the things pictures can't capture" she furrowed her brows "what if I forget how you always smelled like vanilla, or what if I forget your voice? The way you laugh".
We sighed in harmony "I'm not ready to let you go" she walked up to me and placed her hands on my face "Klaus you have no choice. I'm dead" Wait placed her hands on my face? "Elena?" "What Klaus?" "You're touching me" she realized what she had done and pulled away from me quickly.
"Dad?" I looked up to see my three girls standing in front of me "what did you say?" Hope looked at her hands shyly "dad. We called you dad. Is that okay?" I smiled "it's more than okay" "dad who were you talking to?" "You could hear me?" That was weird. I knew it was all in my head so why did they hear me? "Yea you said you're touching me" I smiled "I'm a little crazy" I said playing it off but that was partly true.
"How about I read you to sleep?" They smiled "yes please". I followed them into Hope's room.
Elena's POV
I touched him. I felt him. "What's going on?" I managed to make him believe I was all in his head but now, now I can touch him "I could tell you" I looked up to see a blue ghost "what are you?" She laughed "not what, who" "okay who are you?" I said leaning against the cement wall.
"I'm Inado" weird name "cool name" "Elena I have a proposition for you. Are you interested?" I looked at her skeptically "what?" "How would you like to return to your family?" I couldn't help it my heart jumped.
"How would you like to be alive again?" "I-I-I... what's in it for you?" I was now in an old abandoned house "I need you to deliver some children for me" "here?" "Yes" "why?" "That's my business" I bit my lip "this is a one time thing?" She smiled "yes".
"I deliver these children for you one time and then you'll leave me alone?" "By alone I suppose you mean I won't ask you to do it again?" I nodded "very well then. You have until tomorrow night to bring the kids here" "and if I don't?" "Well you'll be back here rotting and this time I won't let you see your precious boyfriend" I nodded "I'll do it".
Klaus' POV
"DAD!!" "DADDY?!" "DAD?!" I opened my eyes and ran to the living room to see the girls. "What is it?" The twins looked scared "it's Hope" I grabbed Hope "you're freezing" "I don't feel so good dad" "HAYLEY?!"
A second later Hayley came out Stefan's room pulling his shirt on over her head "what is it?" "It's Hope, get dressed" she nodded and went back in his room.

We were all currently in the living room. I was standing by the doorway watching Hayley who had Hope in her arms. "Twins how do you feel?" The twins looked up at Hayley "we just feel tired but we're okay Aunt Hayley".
Katherine walked in and went to the twins. "Girls" "yes Aunt Kitty?" Katherine smiled at them grabbing their hands "I'm going to take off you bracelets okay. I need you both to grab one of Hope's hands and say a spell" "what if we mess up Aunt Kitty?" "We'll do it Simon Says style okay?" They nodded and walked up to Hope each grabbing one of her hands.
"Now what?" I watched as Katherine said the spell and they copied. They loved Katherine. "Hope's sick" we all looked at the twins curiously "not human sick but supernatural sick. There's... there's darkness" Maya spoke slowly. Edythe had her eyes closed and looked as if she was concentrating really hard.
"Children... blue... kidnapped... mommy?" I tried to make sense of what they were saying. I then met eyes with Edythe and she did something I thought I would never see again since Breanne died. Edythe's head shoot up looking at the ceiling her eyes rolling to the back of her head "death, if you thought 5 years apart was torture try forever. The fall of the Mikealsons will be at the hands of one of you three little girls Klaus. Maybe you should've learned to keep it in your pants" spoke the voice that didn't belong to Edythe.
Edythe gasped and fell to the floor. I vamp speed to her and picked her up. "Dad what happened?" She asked looking at me scared.
"You just told us our future sweetheart" she smiled and leaned against me falling asleep.
Just then the phone rang. Stefan pulled his phone out and answered it "hello?" "I know what's wrong with Hope" Stefan furrowed his brow "can you help her?" "Come to New Orleans" then the phone went silent.
"That was Vincent. He said he knows what's wrong with Hope" "let's go to New Orleans then" "wait!" We all stopped "we can't all just go" Elijah looked at Stefan annoyed "and why not?" "Easy you all aren't very welcome and if you all go Marcel will feel attacked and I want the focus to be on Hope and not your petty war with Marcel okay" I smiled.
"My old friend does have a point there. Who do you suggest should go Stefan?" "You, Hayley, and Freya" Elijah huffed annoyed "I'm surprised you didn't want to go" Stefan rolled his eyes "I wish I could but I have to go run my school".
I walked up to Stefan and placed my hand in his shoulder "thank you Stefan" she smiled "anytime" he got up off the couch and Hayley followed him still holding Hope.
Elena's POV (before vincent found the kids)
I gasped awake hitting my head on something cement. "Ow! Shit" I coughed and I realized I was in a wall. Or something like that. I coughed once more before kicking the front. I kept on kicking until finally the cement cracked and fell to the ground.
I went to slide out gracefully but ending up on my butt. It was dark out so it had to be late at night.
I went to the addresses she gave me and I did as I was told. I led the kids to the abandoned house and then I walked out. I heard their screams for me but I kept on walking.
I wanted to run back in there and save them but I couldn't. I couldn't save them. I wrote a note and I left it on Marcel's window.
I didn't leave till I saw him pick up the letter and call someone named Vincent. I walked off and went to the Compound. I would go looking for The Mikealsons tomorrow. I laid in bed that night tossing and turning.
When I did finally go to sleep I had nightmares about me leaving those kids all alone there.
