MiChaeng with a Happy Ending

12: Pancake

All of the girls are now in the dorm. Mina started to prepare the snacks while Chaeyoung is now mixing the pancake mix. Jihyo helped Chaeyoung cause she noticed that she was having a hard time.

"Do you know how to cook that Chaeyoung?" Jihyo asked.

"Yes unnie, don't you have trust on me? Mina-unnie literally asked the same question earlier." Chaeyoung frowned.

"Ohhh, I see... so, it's gonna be the first time for us to see you cook."

"No unnie, it's our first time to use the kitchen. All of us can't cook after all. But I'm really confident with this one."

"Okay, I'm gonna heat the pan up. Did you get some butter?"

"Uhm... Wait, let me see."

Chaeyoung then inspect the bags if they bought some butter and to her surprise, they forgot it.

"Jihyo-unnie, I think we have some problem..."

"Don't tell me you didn't bought some butter?"

"We actually didn't..."

"Oh my god! How could you forget that? How can we cook the pancakes?"

"I'm just gonna find some oil in here."

Chaeyoung found some sesame oil and she gave it to Jihyo.

"I don't think this is gonna work Chae but let's try."

Jihyo first cook the pancake and the other members tasted it.

"What kind of pancake is this? This is the worst pancake I've ever had." Nayeon said with a disgusted impression on her face.

"It tastes okay for me." Momo added.

"Yah! Momo-unnie, are your taste buds broken??" Dahyun asked.

"No but it can still be eaten..." Momo respond.

All of the girls facepalmed.

"Let me try Jihyo-unnie."

Chaeyoung then cooked a pancake.

Mina was watching her attentively not missing any moments of Chaeyoung cooking. It's as if, her body tells her to do that and she did.

"And done!" Chaeyoung gladly put the pancake in the plate.

Mina was the first one to taste it cause that's the first thing she saw Chaeyoung cooked and it was really important for her but she doesn't know the reason why her body and mind keeps thinking things like that.

She didn't show any expression cause she doesn't want Chaeyoung to feel disappointed.

"It's the same as Jihyo-unnie's pancake Chae-ah." Sana commented.

The girls then nodded.

"Ehhh, what should we do now? I don't want to go back to the convenience store." Chaeyoung added.

"Okay, let me try." Mina suggested.

All of the girls were shocked cause they didn't expect that Mina would cook.

Mina's POV

I think the pancake tastes bad because of the oil so I'm not gonna use that. I tink that it's also alright to cook this pancake without an oil cause this pan is a non-stick pan after all.

Mina then washed the pan and all of the girls were shocked.

"Mina-yah, I thought you're gonna cook? Why are you washing the pan?" Sana asked.

"It's because of the oil, Sana-unnie pabo-yah." Tzuyu answered.

All of the girls laughed.

Mina then started to heat up the pan and tried to put the pancake mix. And then, a perfectly cooked pancake was in the plate.

"Wow~ Mina-unnie, this is amazing." Chaeyoung complimented.

"Oh no, I just think of this idea. Now, taste it."

The girls tasted it and they we're delighted.

"This is how a real pancake tastes like!!" The girls said in sync.

They all laughed and Chaeyoung started to cook the remaining pancakes. After that, they put some syrup on it.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that Nayeon-unnie and the other girls prepared the meat they bought. And, the celebration started.
