57: Sudden Turn of Events

Baby's POV

This sucks! My brother just ditched me!

I was so excited to see him cause it's been years but he just called me and said that there's emergency in the company.

Yes... He's now managing it after his group disbanded too.

He didn't graduate college cause he decided to be an idol and after they disband, he immediately helped our mother with the business.

He was still learning it right now cause it's just been a year ever since he quit being an idol and it was my last year on college that time so we didn't see each other that much.

I miss being with him... He's such a good brother. I even wondered why the woman he confessed with, turned him down.

It's been years and he's still in love with her. It's so frustrating! He didn't even tell me who's that chick.

My mood is ruined now and I just took my day off because of my brother but he ditched me so, I'm gonna go home.

I'm tired right now after making those tests and assisting Mina-chan... I even almost forgot the other one to be tested. I hope it all went well for them. They're gonna be so happy knowing that they're gonna have a baby soon. I'm so happy for them.

I can't wait to see their smiling faces tomorrow!!

Then, Baby went home to rest.

Chaeyoung's POV

So, I went home.

Our house was a disaster.

It's just been weeks since we're staying at the hospital but our house is so messy.

This is all my fault for panicking too much!

Chaeyoung fixed herself up as she remembered that she was literally not in herself when she always came home.

She kept thinking about Mina and just grabbed some stuffs they needed without cleaning the mess and now, it looks like their house just went through a storm.

"My suspicions can wait. I need to clean our house first." Chaeyoung thought as she began to pick some clothes on the floor.

She did the laundry, vacuumed the floor, wiped some things, fixed their things and all.

She was so exhausted after all of that work and she was now in their room, laying.

Then, she glanced outside of their door and she can clearly see the room where she prepared for the baby.

She felt a pang of sadness in her heart as she thought of what just happened yesterday.

Chaeyoung then went in the room.

She looked at the paintings, the clothes, and the toys that she bought for their baby.

"I guess this room isn't gonna be used for the mean time..." She mumbled as she began to rearrange the things and placed it on the side of the room.

Chaeyoung was now laying on the floor with the furry carpet. She was tired and exhausted maybe because of everything that happened so she immediately fell asleep, forgetting about the part where she has work to do for the company and about Mina's condition.

Mina's POV

I woke up with Mama Sachiko beside me. Her eyes are full of worry.

I scanned the room but Chaeyoung wasn't here. Thank god.

I don't want to face her right now. It's not like I don't want to see her cause I don't love her anymore. It's just... I feel like I failed her. I don't even have the courage to tell her everything right now.
