It was a calm night. All was silent. The breeze was cool. The lights were off. It was a perfect time for lovebirds to share a nest, and that was exactly what Xiaotang and Shuxin were doing. Currently, they were sitting together on Xiaotang's bed, cuddling.
"Yu egg," Xiaotang said as she patted Shuxin's soft hair. "Look at the stars."
Shuxin turned to the window to look at the stars in the sky and then turned back to Xiaotang.
"What about the stars?" Shuxin blinked innocently.
"Do you know where else we can find them? The stars I mean," Xiaotang asked, subtly puling Shuxin closer.
"W-Where?"
"In your eyes."
At Xiaotang's honeyed words, Shuxin ducked her head shyly.
"Liar," she mumbled.
"How can I be lying?" Xiaotang gently lifted Shuxin's chin up so that their eyes would meet. "I would be a horrible, horrible person to lie to a beautiful, beautiful girl like you- hold up! What the fuck is that thing?"
Shuxin was taken aback by how quickly Xiaotang went from sweet-talker to potty-mouth, but she turned around to where Xiaotang was looking. Her eyes also widened. Somewhere outside, in the middle of the night, was a tiny but shiny ray of light.
"Is that a...?" she whispered.
"I hope not. Let's take a closer look."
Xiaotang and Shuxin crawled towards the window. They peeked at the shiny ray of light. It was moving. There was something moving in their yard, and it was holding that light. After some observations, it looked like there might be more of whatever that moving thing is in their yard.
"Yu egg, I think there's someone in our yard," Xiaotang finally said.
"S-Someone is in our yard?" came Shuxin's shaking voice.
"Yeah, and it looks like they got company."
Shuxin looked at Xiaotang worriedly.
"What do we do, Tangtang?"
Xiaotang got up from where she was and grabbed her giant water gun. She then flipped her hair dramatically and turned to Shuxin.
"We battle."

"I hope everyone's alright back home."
Lin Fan and Keran were at Keran's private suite at the hotel. The couple was looking out from the window at the night scenery. Keran sipped some wine and then checked her phone.
"No calls from Xiaotang about Shaking and Yu Yan decapitating each other, so I assume they're alright," Keran said.
Lin Fan went silent as she watched the urban night scene. It's been a few days since she got to the city, and she surprisingly settled in to the loudness quite well. But there was something missing.
"Keran, can you order some mashed potatoes?" Lin Fan suddenly asked.
"Sure," Keran nodded, suspecting that there was more to the statement than craving potatoes. "I'll order them right away."
Keran called for room service while Lin Fan kept looking out the window. A few minutes later, Keran came back with mashed potatoes plated neatly on a dish.
"Your food's here, Fanfan," Keran told her as she gently pulled her away form the window and sat her down. "Eat up."
As usual, Lin Fan finished every bit of the mashed potatoes. Keran watched
her intently as she ate the last bit of mashed potatoes. When Lin Fan finally wiped her mouth, Keran could finally ask her the question she's been meaning to ask her since
