Lin Fan and Keran walked hand in hand through the grassy meadow. Keran had chivalrously offered to carry the picnic basket for Keran, which made the potato farmer swoon. The whole time Keran held her hands, Lin Fan couldn't stop blushing happily, butterflies swarming in her stomach.
She's so strong and sexy, Lin Fan thought to herself. Aiya! What's wrong with me??
"Where do you want to sit?" Keran asked her, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Huh?" Lin Fan blinked cutely.
"I said where do you want to sit?"
Lin Fan looked around. When she found what she was looking for, she enthusiastically pointed towards it.
"Under that tree."
Keran walked over to the tree and laid out a blanket. She then put the picnic basket down, took off her sweater, and laid it on the blanket. Lin Fan gulped when she saw that Keran was wearing nothing but a tank top underneath.
"Why did you take your sweater off?" Lin Fan stammered.
"Your pants are thin," Keran said. "And the grass is kinda spiky, even over the blanket. So, I took it off and laid it out for you to sit on."
Lin Fan swooned harder. (If that's even possible, considering how much she's already swooning for Keran.)
"T-Thank you," she mumbled out a tiny expression of gratitude.
"You're welcome," Keran smiled and then sat down. "Come sit."
Lin Fan sat herself down on the sweater. Keran wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer. For a while, neither of them said anything. The couple leaned back on the tree and watched the clouds drift by, enjoying each other's company.
"Keke, look at that cloud!" Lin Fan pointed enthusiastically. "It looks like an onion!"
"It does, doesn't it?" Keran said as she leaned forward.
That comment only fueled Lin Fan's enthusiasm for clouds.
"That one looks like a chicken!" Lin Fan pointed out.
"Yeah!"
"Oooo! It's a sea turtle!"
"Immhmm!"
"Oh my! That's a potato!"
And so, Lin Fan went on and on about the shapes she saw in the clouds. Keran nodded along to everything the potato farmer said, basking in the feeling of hearing her beautiful voice. Somewhere along the line, Keran closed her eyes, breathing in the fresh air and relaxing her entire being.
"Why don't you try, too?" Lin Fan turned to her.
"Hmm?" Keran opened one eye.
"The clouds," Lin Fan said, as if it was the most obvious thing on the planet.
Keran took a good look at the sky and shrug.
"I'm not very good at it," she said.
"Eh? Come on!" Lin Fan nudged her. "Use your imagination!"
Keran took a second look at the sky and focused. Her eyes widened. Suddenly, the clouds started to make so much sense.
"That one looks like an Audi!" Keran enthusiastically pointed. "And that one looks like a Rolls-Royce!"
Lin Fan blinked slowly. She's only seen those cars in the movies and the magazines. To be honest, she wasn't that familiar with them. But judging the way Keransaw those shapes right away, Lin Fan thought Keran's tastes were rather exquisite.
