Westallen - If I were a Worm?

"Would you still love me if I was a worm?" Barry said casually.

Iris had thought he was already asleep, and had been next to him in bed scrolling through instagram.

"What?" She asked, looking up from her phone.

"Would you still love me if I was a worm?" He repeated, an expectant look on his face.

"I... why would you be a worm?"

"That's irrelevant, just answer the question," said Barry, now sitting up in bed.

"Well I need context, under what circumstances would you be a worm?"

"So you're saying there's a possible scenario where I turn into a worm and you stop loving me."

"I didn't say that," she giggled, playfully poking him in the side. "I just want to know how you plan on turning into a worm?"

"I don't plan to, per say, but you never know," Barry shrugged.

"But it's impossible!"

"Iris we live in freaking Central City, nothing is impossible. Someone could have the power to transform other humans."

"Barry, name one person that could transform you into a worm," Iris argued.

"John. Constantine." He spat.

"Someone that exists within the timeline!"

"Hey, that's not fair, you didn't give me any rules."

"Oh my god Barry, please just go to sleep," Iris laughed. "You've got work in the morning."

"Fine," he whined. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

Barry flipped back on to his side and became quiet, meanwhile Iris turned her attention back to her phone. After a few minutes of silence, Iris spoke.

"Yes," she said.

"Huh?" Barry said groggily, having been just on the verge of falling asleep.

"Yes, I would still love you if you were a worm"

Iris leaned over and kissed Barry on the cheek before flipping her own light off.
