Chapter 20

Van's POV

"Blue, any words on the street?"

"The men are searching for all the cults in the area that might be involved."

"These cult hated gays and lesbians. Ask around the LGBT clubs if they knew something."

"Yes."

This narrowed down the list of suspects but it can still be anything else. Dylan had been missing for the last six hours and there's still no solid leads.

Mine, her and Jill's team were all ready to be deployed as soon as we got a location. Shit! This waiting's killing me.

"Any news on the SUV or the woman?" I asked red.

"Not yet. Sorry."

"It's okay. Keep trying."

Nick's POV

Lexi and I went back to the police plaza where every one's working because we hit a dead end on Jesse Rogers. There's no DMV records for Martha Rogers and her credit cards and accounts were closed three years ago.

"How about Jesse Rogers' phone records? Surely he has one. Maybe we can track his latest location." Sam suggested.

"It's worth a try." I then talked to Nica. "Can you pull it?"

"Already am." Then his phone number was shown. "There's three person who had the name Jesse Rogers. Which one?"

"Write them all. We'll call them all."

Dan's POV

"I think I found something." I told uncle. "I've been searching the LGBT forums and there's one group that keeps popping out."

"What is it?"

"Adam&Eve" I replied. "They don't have a website so they must be only recruiting via word of mouth or at the street. They have been attacking gays and lesbians by calling them names and shouting scriptures."

"Do you have any locations?" Uncle asked.

"Not yet. Maybe Van can help and I'll tell Nica." I sighed. "I'm sorry Uncle."

He placed a comforting hand in my shoulder. "It's progress Dan. Let's continue searching. I'll tell the men."

Nica's POV

"Dan found something!" I exclaimed. "Sam! Can you remember anything about Adam&Eve group?"

"No... I haven't read anything about them. They are not in our radar." Sam got photographic memory so most of the time she can remember faster than computer search.

"Maybe SVU got information. I'll tell Nick."

Nick's POV

"I found Jesse and all he told me was that he doesn't want to do anything about Martha." Lexi told me after she dropped the phone.

"Nica called and told us to check with SVU regarding a group called Adam&Eve."

"Where did she get that info?"

"From Dan." I answered.

"Dan would probably an invaluable asset if she decides to use her gift on the brighter side of the law."

"Good thing she's on our side... right?"

Van's POV

"Blue, find Adam&Eve's base. Green, ready the men. Legit or not, we'll go in."

"Yes boss."

Dylan's POV

I felt the presence of someone in the room when I regained consciousness. He was sitting on the darker side of the room so all I could see was his shadow. "If you want money just give me a number and it's yours. Just let me go."
