Chapter 23

Dylan's POV

When I looked up, all I could see was blue and white. When I looked down, it as green and brown. This place was so amazing and serene and yet something's definitely missing.

What could it be.

I walked and walked besides the endless shore, waiting for the dangerous tidal bore.

The cold water negate the warm sand under my feet. And in an instant, my body's waist length deep. My body shivered at the cold but instead of running away, I walked deeper and deeper until all the oxygen was taken away.

My eyes still opened I as sunk under the cold blue water. The bright blue sky still visible under the ray of sun. And when I decided that enough is enough and closed my eyes, someone held my hand.

A pair of hand pulled me out and suddenly I was ashore, coughing all the water that I swallowed.

"You're not allowed to die yet." A voice that I haven't heard for a long time said. "Your father needs you. Your wife needs you and you sons needs you."

"Son?"

"Yes. You bore another son."

I bore a child? I looked at my stomach and all I could see was the tail of my dragon tattoo, belly ring and my six pack abs. "What son?"

"The child that you and your wife created. The son that you fought for your life with"

"I bore a son?"

"Yes and he needs you. No child should grow in a broken family."

"I did! Dan had none! Ashley had one but they are never there!"

"My point exactly. You know the pain. So live my child! It's not your time yet. Go back to your family."

"But I need you mom! I missed you so much!"

"I know. And I'm always here. In your heart."

And then everything went black.

Ashley's POV

"She's going to be okay Ashley." Kyle stated. "She loss a lot of blood and we needed to re-open her because the place that she was operated wasn't sanitized. We managed to repair the damage and removed to infection but unfortunately, her womb was badly damaged."

"She might never be able to carry a child again?" I completed.

"I'm sorry."

"Can I see her?"

"As soon as she's transferred to the recovery room."

I entered my wife's room as soon as the nurse exited. "I almost loss you. Pleas wake up. I need you. Our sons needs you. Please baby... Please..."

Van's POV

While Ashley waited as the doctors operated on her wife, I took this moment to update Alex, Dylan's father who came with Ashley via chopper.

"Ashley froze when I told her about the name Ben and she wasn't able to tell me more because she fainted the moment Dylan flatlined." I could sense the mixture of pain and anger in his face.

"I know him. Just give me a moment." He talked to one particular doctor who nodded at every word that Alex said. "Let's go." I followed him to roof top where his chariot awaits.

Nick's POV

"Where are they taking the baby?" I have been grilling this son of a bitch for a while now but he still hasn't talked.
