Jill's POV

We just got in the location just in the nick of time. Van and his men were already geared up and ready to attack when she spotted our SUV.

My team went ahead as Nick and Lexi liaise with Major Case team, their captain and secure the warrant. We only have probable cause and there's possibility that all evidence might get thrown out of court or if the people in the warehouse was innocent then they could sue the city.

The fact that Van's team and KPA were there meant that they have proof.

"Van! Is she there?"

"Positive! If we don't move now! Dylan's doing to die! They are trying to remove her baby right now." She replied.

Her confirmation's enough for me. Screw the process! My friend's life's in danger and if we don't move now, we can't really stop them from moving. "Don't kill unless necessary."

"We're not barbarians!"

"I know. But they don't" I pointed at my team.

Our Captain had been in medical leave due to our mission that went wrong. He was shot at the abdomen and will take a while to recover so I'm the acting leader. And if this mission blows, it'll be my responsibility.

"Dylan's at the second level of the building. We need to move now before they butcher our friend." Van stated. "There are three visible entrances. The front, back and the east side. We'll take the east and back. You're team take the front. My source also reported that there's only four perpetrators."

"No killing unless necessary." I repeated.

"You heard her men. No killing unless necessary." She spoked at the radio. "Out intel said that they didn't have any visible weapons so only use force as needed." Everybody acknowledged her order. "Go!"

"Sgt! Are we really going to let those mercenaries do our job? We should be arresting them and not helping them." One of my officer stared. He's right at all counts but they don't understand what we're dealing here. Anything happens to Dylan, all hell will break loose and even us won't live for another day.

"It's complicated." I stated. "You heard her, our victim's on the second floor, probably being butchered alive. Go and call EMT and move in! We'll take the front entrance. The group does not carry visible weapons so do not kill unless necessary!"

"Roger!"

"Go! Move it!"

Van's POV

"Move!" I ordered and we entered the place as quietly as possible. There were still no signs of life until we reached Gio's team that came from the east side. "Clear. No one's here." I whispered.

"I'll continue to sweep this floor and meet with SWAT and you go to the second floor." He said what exact what I have in mind.

There wasn't any signs of life either from the first two rooms. "Fuck!" We can't do anything rush or alert them because they might slash my friend's throat.

"Spread out!" The second level's bigger than than the first level since this floor was divided into segments and contained many rooms. My source only told us that they're in the second level.

I let my men spread out and clear the area while I walked towards the end where I could see some bright light. My gut said to follow the light and my feet were already walking towards that direction before my brain could process anything.

I peeked at the slightly opened door and saw another door. "I got something." I radioed.

After I cleared the room, I proceed to the next room and saw two figures. One was lying at the table while one was standing over. "Freeze!" I shouted and pointed the gun at him. "Don't move!"
