I was only staring at the screen of my monitor, too tired to even blink.

I sighed and was about to stand up when I heard someone talk behind me.

"Ohhh! Top 1 performer, ah?"

I looked back and saw a little person, with a very small and pretty face, passing in front of me. She pointed the large screen on the middle of the office to where the top performers were shown.

My eyes batted when her sweet perfume brushed against my nostrils. The scent is too strong and too addicting at the same time.

I don't know her so I didn't react until she went out the office and met one of my friends, Jaypee.

Seems like they know each other as the bastard was smiling from ear to ear.

"You know her?" I asked when he approached me.

"Who? Paige?"

"That woman you just talked to over there..." I pointed the door. "Do you know her?"

A quick look told me that he's thinking shits again.

"Yeah! That's Paige. Why? Do you like her? Damn, bro! Can you please stop with your newbie-hunting addiction? You already have a girlfriend for hell's sake!"

My eyes squinted, declaring a war. "I was just asking, you son of a b-" I stopped myself before I could even break his neck off.

He chuckled and raised a peace sign. I rolled my eyes, sighing.

"She kinda looked familiar, I just can't figure out where I've seen her."

"She's one of Celeste's trainees. Remember that time when she let you into the training room as one of her trainees wanted to see you? Darn this pretty boy!" He said, nudging my shoulder with his elbow.

"She was there?" I asked and he nodded. "But I don't remember seeing her here but somewhere."

"Oh, I see." Jaypee playfully grinned. "Paige is quite famous tho. You might have seen her on your Facebook timeline or on any social media platform."

His brows went up and down for some freakin' reason.

"What is she famous for then?" I asked out of curiosity.

"You find it out by yourself, pretty boy! Gotta go."

Jaypee sprinted from one bay to another, greeting every person he meets. I rolled my eyes and locked my station before going out.

I went to the pantry to get some snacks when I came across her.

"Well, sometimes even deities have their own love stories. Have you had one, Mr. Huff?"

Her question came so unexpectedly, in such a rational tone, that it took me a moment to sink what she said and a moment beyond to come up of what I hope would be a definitive response.

"Well, yes. How about you," I stopped for her name, smiling.

"Paige Biehn," offering a hand for a shake which I took. "And to answer your question yes, I have with a dash of Zeus' affair."

I inclined my head and watch her through narrowed eyes.

"You mean you've been cheated?"

She flushed. "Yes? And things went the other way around. Anyway, grabbing some snacks? Would you mind if I join?"
