The weekend lasted too short of a time. School time again. And with school came Daisy. Great, just great. She made all the other shit I had to put up with look like a walk though a patch of flowers. Er, well if you weren't allergic to flowers or had pollen allergies or anything.
And it didn't help that I shared Choir with her. Choir was one of my favorite classes aside from English. English was always my top favorite. I wasn't that great of a singer but hey, the class was still fun and we had an awesome teacher who would always joke around and make us laugh. He made school fun. And that was hard to do.
And worse still was that I had to stand by her in Choir. And hear her go on and on about her oh so awesome relationship with Jake.
Great. Just fucking great. Rub it in enough, bitch? I mean really.
Oh, and then I heard her say this.
"If Lily doesn't leave him alone I am going to beat the shit out of her."
Was that a threat? What the hell did I ever do to her? I mean really. Yeah, Jake was my friend. That bitch had no fucking say so in that. She was a fucking cunt. Pardon my language.
And leave him alone? Really, just really. Why the hell would she assume that I am bothering him?
"She is just jealous of you." Her friend told her.
Jealous? Of that asshole? You have got to be kidding me. What, did Daisy just assume that everyone worshipped the ground that she walked on? I hate to break it to her but she couldn't be more wrong. No. Wait. I didn't hate to break it to her. I hated the bitch. How was I ever friends with her in the first place. All she was doing now was insulting me and laughing at me behind my back. And now she was threatening me. What kind of friend did that? It just made me angry.
But I bit my tongue and made it through Choir. I left the class when the bell rung. I decided to wait for Ruth, who was also in band. I needed someone to talk to.
Jake came out about the time Ruth did so we ended up following him and Daisy. I could hear her make another sneering comment about how I was a lost puppy. I waited until they were out of earshot.
"Hey can I talk to you about something?" I asked Ruth.
"Sure." She said.
"Well..." I explained to her what Daisy was doing and everything.
"Ignore her. They are just empty threats." Ruth said. I nodded. She was right. What could that bitch really do to me?
I went to the bus ramp and waited for my bus. I waited and waited but it didn't seem to appear. Did I miss it? I wondered to myself. It was raining outside and I was getting soaked. I looked around. People from my bus were still there. I didn't miss it. Must be late.
Thirty minutes later it still wasn't there. I went inside and looked at my phone. My mom was just getting off work. I called her and told her how late the bus was. She told me she would just pick me up. I went to the pickup area and waited for my mom to pull into it. I got in her call and got a text. I looked at it. It was from Jason.
I love you. It read. Oh great. I thought I had explained to him that I didn't want a relationship with him.
