Everyone was quick to start laying down attacks on Estarossa even if it ended in them getting hit backwards. Acantha watched as Elizabeth was consumed into a void of demonic energy. It definitely made her fear for the princess. She would send down a rain of fire and embers yet nothing layed a scratch. It was impossible to even try getting close. The demon at the core of it all was extremely unstable as well. Acantha saw Gowther and Hawk standing on the sidelines and flew to them. "Is there any way we can stop him??" She asked with a sense of hopelessness in her eyes. The doll sighed. "I have an idea... But it'll cause discomfort to others..." He stated and used his power to restore the memories of Estarossa, causing everyone else who have had experiences with him to be fixed as well even if it was an extremely painful process.
Acantha stood on the platform with Hawk and Gowther. "What did you do?" She asked, looking at everyone. "I simply restored Estarossa's memories. Or I guess... Mael as his real name is..." He explained. She watched Mael returning to his former self and was rather surprised. The man held extreme divine energy. Though now Elizabeth was safer, Gowther was now the target of Mael's rage. He sent down an attack where the three stood, destroying the pillar. Acantha grabbed Hawk and held him in her arms and allowed Gowther to grab onto her ankle. "Are you two alright??" Acantha asked with worry in her voice. Gowther had taken an extreme amount of damage. He lost one eye and an arm whereas Hawk had a few scratches. "Acantha please set me to the ground." The sin of lust asked politely. The nymph nodded and gently lowered herself and placed Hawk and Gowther down before sensing another attack from Mael. Gowther shoved her out of the way last second while King intervened.
"Acantha go make sure Elizabeth stays safe!" King instructed. Acantha nodded and ran to where Elizabeth and Derieri was. The princess seemed weakened yet was alright which gave her relief. She suddenly felt a strange sharp pain in her head. It was close to a headache but felt more like needles entering her head. "What the hell...?" She muttered. A dark and malevolent feeling surged through her. It was similar to the feeling she got whenever she was around Zeldris. A fear striking and cold sharp chill. 'Did I just get sick...? Maybe I was slightly affected by that attack from Mael as well...' She tried to rationalize it all. Derieri looked to her. "Oi Acantha is it? Are you alright??" She asked. Acantha furrowed her brows, trying to ignore it. "Yeah... I'm fine... I think..." She muttered. Derieri sighed. "I have an idea to try and take the commandment from Mael... To... Try and... Save him I mean..." It was obvious that Derieri didnt want to say such words but knew better.
Derieri had Gowther transmit the plan to everyone. "Distract Mael??" Acantha asked the woman. "You'll be fine. The fairy king will also help create a distraction. You just need to focus on keeping his attention on the both of you." She said. Acantha nodded and flew to King's side, the two took Mael's attention away from everything else while Sariel and Tarmiel pinned the archangel and demon mix. The commandment of purity used Combo Star to keep Mael from breaking free. And Gowther searched for the commandment to attempt at removing it. It was a lengthy process yet misfortune struck as Tarmiel stopped using his ocean power. Mael broke free and struck Derieri down, sending her to a place of both death and the living world. In the process, he also took the commandment of purity. Upon fusing with this, he sent a force of power that hit everyone in the area and became a cocoon of light and darkness.
The ginger nymph was struck back and sent into a stone pillar. The pillar crumbled upon impact and Acantha was stuck beneath the piles of stone. Everything was blurry, her body ached and her ears rung. "Acantha!!" The voice of Hawk sounded so distant yet the blurry pink form trotting up to her. "Hawk... Are... You... Okay...? Youre not... Hurt right?" She asked weakly. "You're asking me that despite your situation?" The pig blew steam on her face. Acantha furrowed her brows. "I just... Need... A minute..." She tried to move yet felt the rubble crushing her body. Her vision slowly went dark and in only a moment, sweet consciousness slipped from her finger tips. The sounds of water sloshing and flowing caused the girl to open her eyes. Acantha awoke in an unfamiliar place. "This isnt anything like that place I'm always in..." She looked around and saw her new surroundings to be similar to a temple. She was currently standing at the side of what could only be identified as a fountain or outdoor bath. Birds chirped as they sat in their nests. Pillars littered the temple and provided support to the incredibly high roof and framing the outside, giving each threshold an elegant appearance.
"Acantha!" An strangely familiar voice echoed around her yet she couldn't identify the person. It was then she noticed her clothing hadn't changed as it was still that same pure white gown. "Who's there??" Acantha asked, holding onto her dress and walking towards the source of the voice. It kept calling to her and yet any turn she took, it lead her right back to the spot she was at. "What is this place...?" Her green eyes looked around and searched for anything of familiarity. "Acantha..." The voice was suddenly right behind her. She quickly turned and was face to face with a woman. She was tall with curly blonde hair and wore a yellow knee length hunting tunic. On her back was a bow with a divine looking quiver embroidered with gold. The nymph looked beyond confused. This presence. And that voice. It was so familiar yet she'd never see this woman. "Who are you?" Acantha asked.
The woman kept an expression that was soft yet held authority. "Your curiosity turned to desire..." She then put her hands on the smaller girls cheeks. "Desire turned to greed..." The look in her brown eyes grew cold. "Your greed has blinded you. A blind huntress cannot find her kill." She said with a darkness to her voice. Acantha definitely felt a slight fear. Whoever this woman was she was not to be fooled with. "I... I'm not blind... I'm going to find the goddess temple. And I'm going to figure out what happened to me..." She responded. The woman chuckled a bit. "You are a girl with ambitions... And though you've ignored the signs I've sent... Your mind has grown... Acantha." The blonde huntress appearing lady said. The nymph looked straight at the woman. "How do you know my name??" She asked. The brown eyed girl turned her back to Acantha. "The huntress must learn her patience... It may be called game, but it is far from that." She then paused. "A looming shadow approaches. Stay true to those who hold you close to their hearts... For those who fall under his shadow... Fall victim to his blade..." She simply said and walked away.
Acantha tried to follow after her but once turning a corner, saw no one. She was alone once again. "Dammit... How do I even get out of here... What was I even doing before this..." She trailed off as she ran down hallways left and right, her bare feet pattering on the marble ground. She suddenly stopped. "Oh yeah... I was... With the sins... And we were defeating Mael..." She muttered, her voice echoing. "Heyyyy! Acantha are you okay???" The voice of Diane sounded muffled. "Diane?!" She quickly started to run before tripping on her dress. Her eyes closed and when they opened once again, she saw a bright sky above her along with Diane sitting next to her. The girl quickly sat up and looked around to see a normal land. "Huh?? How long was I out?!" She asked the giant. Hawk walked over. "You owe me. While everyone was fighting I carried your lazy butt on my back!" He exclaimed and got flicked by Diane.
The brunette giant turned her attention back to Acantha. "Elizabeth healed your wounds. Are you feeling okay now?" She asked. Acantha nodded and stood up. "I... I think I'm okay at least..." The ginger muttered. "Well that's good. We're heading straight to Camelot now. So I hope you're up to fight." King said, being in his new form which definitely shocked Acantha. She gave a weirded out look. "Yes its me, King." The fairy boy stated. Acantha deadpanned. "You look weird." She commented, walking to stand at the side of Elizabeth. The fairy king sighed a bit as they all headed towards the kingdom. Those who could fly did, Acantha keeping up decently. She stayed by Gowther and Hawk, the flying pig looking at her. "Hey! Your power level is at 88,000 in this form! And its not even your full ability right?? That must mean if you go to your full power you could be even more powerful!" He pointed out. Acantha gave a slight smile. "Yeah I guess so... I just hope my full power will be enough... Even like this I could never lay down a scratch on anything." She responded. King used his chastifol from far away to fight the demons who lurked there. After a minute though, they all sensed a presence of energy. It was soon found out to be the commandments Estarossa had previously absorbed.
Diane seemed worried. "Acantha has Melascula's commandment in that bag though... So we should be okay... Right??" The giant girl asked. King nodded. "The inside of that bag is a complete neutral void. Only the owner of the bag can find what they want to remove. And although the bag is endless, we still need to be careful and make sure it doesn't get destroyed. If it does then everything that was inside of it will remain." King explained. Acantha looked at the bag with furrowed brows. 'All this responsibility rests in my hands... If I mess up... Its all over...' She thought. By the time they arrived to the scene, things looked bad. Merlin glanced to the group. "Is melascula still there?!" She asked. Acantha gave a nod. "Yeah! I still have it!" She responded. Whether announcing this meant she would be a maim target or not, she was prepared to protect this with her life even if it meant dying. "Good now keep an eye on that and don't let anything happen! I need time!" She yelled. The sins all got to fighting.
