Upstate New YorkDeep in the woods, there stood a cabin and no other cabins were anywhere near this cabin. It was alone, it was private and it was exactly what Tony needed after leaving the Avengers. He had given thought to the idea of changing the blip but moved it to the back of his mind when other things became his priority. He had a family to take care of and that was more important than risking his life for a bunch of people that he didn't even like. He lived in his cabin in the woods, waking up every morning to see the sunrise across the lake and spending late evenings inventing little things that would make his life easier. He had married Pepper, the one person that he trusted more than anyone else in the world and they had a daughter, the most important thing in the world was little Morgan Stark and that was never going to change. Sometimes he wondered what his old friends were doing in the Avengers Facility but it obviously wasn't anything ground-breaking as they hadn't been able to bring back everyone from the blip; so, he wasn't that bothered about missing out.
He stepped out of the cabin and walked through the trees, coming to a clearing where there were toys abandoned all over the ground. This was the life that he had always dreamed about but never thought he would have. This was his dream and as bad as the blip had been for some people, he was living his best life and couldn't be happier with his situation. Tony clapped his hands and knelt down in the dirt, calling outside a makeshift tent for his daughter, who had been playing inside it all morning. "Chow time! Maguna. Morgan H Stark, you want some lunch?"
"Define lunch or be disintegrated." The flap of the tent opened and Morgan stepped out, wearing an Iron Man mask and a blaster that was pointed in her father's direction.
This immediately worried Tony as he took the mask off her face. "You should not be wearing that, okay? That is part of a special anniversary gift, I'm making for Mom. There you go. You thinking about lunch?"
"Did Ellie make it?" She thought hard before asking that question, not wanting to offend her cooking but also knowing that Noelle wasn't the best cook in the world.
"No, she certainly did not." He answered, picking her up and balancing her on his hip as he walked them back towards the cabin. "Mom made spaghetti but I can give you a handful of crickets on a bed of lettuce?"
"No."
"That's what you want. How did you find this?"
Morgan smirked, more than proud of herself for what she had done. "Garage."
"Really?" Tony raised an eyebrow at her, knowing that she never did this kind of thing by herself because there was always an accomplice that did the dirty work with her. "Who gave you the key to the garage?"
"I'm not allowed to say."
"You're not allowed to say? Well, that is the last time I leave the keys to Ellie." He grinned, messing with her as they stepped onto the porch. "It's fine, actually, Mom never wears anything I buy her." He doesn't continue his sentence when he spots an unusual car parked outside the house, it was unusual because they never got visitors without knowing beforehand and then he saw who was getting out of the car. Of course, Steve and Natasha arrived today, just when he thought that the Avengers stuff was over, they made an appearance and they brought along someone that he was sure had been blipped. Knowing that it was complicated to explain this to Morgan, he called for his inhouse nanny to come and grab her. "Deano, can you come here for a sec?"
