Days have passed since All Might's retirement. The retirement of All Might after his climatic battle against All For One sent shockwaves across Hero Society. At the same time, news of Daken's betrayal has sent shockwaves across UA, but most of all, Wolverine and X-23. X-23 was still recovering from the ordeal. One day in their home, a knock comes at the door. Wolverine answers the door to see Aizawa and All Might in his empowered form.

All Might: FEAR NOT! I AM HERE....

Before All Might could finish, he quickly reverted to his true form, coughing up blood in the process. Wolverine rolls his eyes as he opens a beer.

Aizawa: You need to stop pushing yourself, Toshinori.

All Might: Sorry about that. Force of habit. May we come in, Logan?

Wolverine: Come right in. Any of you want a beer?

Aizawa: No thank you.

Wolverine then lets Aizawa and All Might into his home and led them to the living room where X-23 was watching TV.

All Might: Young Laura, are you well?

X-23: I'll...I'll be fine.

Aizawa took note of X-23's tone as he glanced over to Wolverine. As Wolverine sits next to his daughter, Wolverine talks to them.

Wolverine: What are you two doing here?

Aizawa: After the villain attack and All Might's retirement, UA decided that it's students would be moving into Dorms. Toshinori and I have been meeting with the parents of the other students. So far, they've given their consent to allow your classmates to move into the Dorms.

Wolverine: Dorms, huh? Looking to keep the students close?

Aizawa: In a manner of speaking. With all that's happened, people are beginning to lose faith in Heroes. And with what happened with Daken....

As Aizawa said that, X-23 glared over to Aizawa, making it clear to Aizawa that X-23 was still enraged over what happened. Wolverine was quick to step in.

Wolverine: Laura's still angry about what happened with Akihiro. It's hit her pretty hard.

All Might: I can't even imagine. You both have my...condolences.

Wolverine: Thanks.

Aizawa: I know what happened with Akihiro has been hard for you.

X-23: You still haven't found him yet, haven't you?

Aizawa: We're doing everything we can. Ever since All For One's defeat, we've been trying to track down Romulus and Akihiro as well as the League Of Villains. But with all that's happened, tracking them has been difficult.

As Aizawa said this, X-23 said nothing as her mind fell back to Daken's betrayal. She remembered the injuries he inflicted on her and the words he said to her.

Daken(Past): I want you to remember this, sister. I could've killed you, but I didn't. I'm letting you live so you know that I've beaten you. I want you to remember who is superior. Killing you is beneath me. But if you continue to stand with Wolverine, all debts will be forgotten. Goodbye, sister.

As those words echoed in her mind, X-23 clenched her fists in anger and frustration. Wolverine as well as Aizawa and All Might could see just how much Daken's betrayal has effected her. Aizawa and All Might looked to each other as they soon turned to Wolverine.

Aizawa: Would you be comfortable with Laura moving into the Dorms?

Wolverine: I might be her parent, but it's not my call. What do you want, Laura?

As Wolverine said that, X-23 took a moment to think about this. Ever since Daken's betrayal, X-23 had isolated herself to give herself time to think about what had happened. She had not spoken with Kirishima or anybody else from Class 1-A since then. While she was still recovering from recent events, X-23's thoughts fell on Kirishima.

X-23: I....I think moving into the Dorms would be good for me.

Aizawa: It'll be a few days before UA starts up again. I'd suggest you take the time to gather what you need for your Dorms.

All Might: And if you need someone to talk to, we are more than happy to give you that.

X-23: T...thank you.

Aizawa: We should get going. We still have a few students to speak to.

With that, Aizawa and All Might left the home. As they left, Wolverine speaks to his daughter.

Wolverine: You didn't have to accept, you know. I would've been fine with you staying here.

X-23: I...I know, Dad. It's just that....I have to get out of here. There's...there's too many memories here. Too many memories of...him....

Wolverine: It's all right, Laura. I know more than enough of how it feels to have those kind of feelings.

X-23: Dad....why? Why did he do it?

As X-23 questioned Daken's actions, Wolverine became silent as he didn't know the answer to that question. Daken showed no indication that he planned to betray them the way he did. Wolverine simply sighed.

Wolverine: I...I don't know. When we find him, we'll find out from him.

As Wolverine said that, more of Daken's words began to echo in her head.

Daken(Past): We really aren't so different.

X-23(Past): I'm...I'm nothing like you!

Daken(Past): Keep telling yourself that. You were created to be a weapon. I was forged into it by circumstance. Wolverine is no different.

As that interaction echoed in her head, X-23 began to tremble. Wolverine was quick to try and comfort her.

Wolverine: I'm here if you need anything.

X-23: I...I just need rest.

With that, X-23 went into her room and slept for the night. As X-23 fell asleep, she was uncertain for what the future would have in store for her.
