The Clawed Heroes: Season Three (MHA X Wolverine)

Chapter Nineteen - Class 1-A VS Class 1-B

As the Joint Training Exercises began, X23 joined up with her teammates in the first round. As both teams were given time to prepare, the team began to think over their approach. 

Kaminari: This is pretty cool!

Kirishima: You can say that again!

Tsuyu: We should probably come up with a plan. The other team have their own squad of Spartans too. Each team basically knows what the other's capable of, so we should probably stick together and overwhelm them with our numbers.

X-23: Tsu's right . At that point, we'll just have to take down the most powerful and work our way down. Kaminari, your Quirk should be able to spread them out.

Kaminari: Fine by me! Let's do this!

X-23: The last thing we want to do is to underestimate them. If we're going to beat them, we're going to have to give it everything we have!

With that, Team A-1 advances through Ground Gamma, with Tsuyu leading the way, using her camouflage to stay hidden from the opposing team. As they advance, Koda uses his Quirk to command a flock of birds to scout out the battlefield. Soon enough, the birds get back to Koda.

Koda: Shiozaki's advancing on the left! She's alone!

Without hesitation, Team 1-A make their way to Shiozaki's location. As they reach her, Jurota Shishida suddenly leaps from the air in his Beast enhanced form and smashes both Eijiro and Tsuyu through nearby pipes with Roaring Rage.

Shishida: We took Koda's search method into account! And we knew that you would be wary of Shiozaki! She was the bait while I snuck up on you!

As Team 1-B sprang their trap, X-23 unsheathed her claws and began attacking. As a battle broke out between the two teams, Team 1-B were able to capture Koda and Kirishima. As Team 1-B pressed the attack, she was cornered by Kosei and Hiryu. 

Kosei: It's over!

Hiryu: Make it easy on yourself!

With a smirk on her face, she cracked her knuckles and charged in. She began swinging her claws at both Kosei and Hiryu. Kosei and Hiryu were quickly overwhelmed by X-23's relentless attacks. During the fight, X-23 kicks Hiryu in the face with enough force to knock him out. When Kosei moved to attack, X-23 dodge his attack and slashed his arm with her claws. She follows through by kneeing Kosei in the stomach and knocking him out with a punch to the face. With Kosei and Hiryu knocked out, X-23 picked them up and began moving them to the cage. As this happened, Shishida spotted X-23.

Shishida: Ibara! Take her down!

As Shiozaki moved to attack X-23, Tsuyu and Kaminari attacked Shiozaki, allowing X-23 make her way to the cage and put Kosei and Hiryu in the cage. Kaminari takes the chance to take the fight straight to Shiozaki. At the same time, Tsuyu begins leading Shishida across the battlefield, using slime from her Quirk to throw off the latter's sense of smell. As the battle unfolds, X-23 rushes to help her teammates. By this point, Kaminari managed to gain the upper hand on Shiozaki. Shiozaki then grabs Kaminari with her Vines, but this left her open to an attack by X-23 who charged at Shiozaki. Shiozaki attacks her with a large wave of Vines, but X-23 slashes through them with her claws. This gave Kaminari the open he needed to land a powerful shock on Ibara with his Quirk, knocking her out in the process.

Kaminari: Thanks for the opening, Laura!

X-23: Anytime. 

As Shiozaki was neutralized, Shishida searches for Tsuyu. Suddenly, he was ambushed by X-23. After a brief struggle, Shishida grabs X-23 and throws her to the ground. X-23 was able to get back on her feet and assumed a combative stance. 

Shishida: You're a formidable fighter, Laura. But I'm afraid I can't give up. 

X-23: Already identified 17 ways to beat you. But I'll make this easy on you. 

As X-23 lunged at Shishida, Shishida was able to parry most of X-23's attacks. Despite this, he was unable to land a hit on her as she proved too nimble for him to hit. As Shishida kept attacking, X-23 pressed the attack, landing several slashes with her claws. During the fight, she lands a small slash on Shishida's face above the eye. 

Shishida: What was that?!

X-23: Just the right cut above the eye. The one that bleeds. 

As X-23 says this, the cut began to bleed. The blood began to fall towards Shishida's eye. As Shishida attempts to wipe the blood off, X-23 presses the attack. As the fight dragged on, Shishida's attacks became sluggish. Seeing her opportunity, X-23 charges in and lands the final punch on Shishida, knocking him out. As Shishida was knocked out, X-23 fell to her knees, exhausted from the fight. It wasn't long before Tsuyu checked up on X-23.

Tsuyu: Are you okay, ribbit? 

X-23: I'll be fine. I just need a minute. 

After taking several deep breaths, X-23 gets up to help Tsuyu drag Shishida to the cage. After that, the match was declared a victory for Class 1-A. Shishida was the first to recover. X-23 then extends her hand to Shishida. He was initially taken aback by this gesture of good will, but he accepts it. With that, the first round finished, the Joint Training Exercise between Class 1-A and Class 1-B would continue. X-23 couldn't help but smile to herself as she was curious as to how the rest of the matches would unfold. For now, all X-23 could do was sit back and watch. But if the first match was an indicator of anything, it would be that both Classes would not back down.
