The Clawed Heroes: Season Three (MHA X Wolverine)

Chapter Nine - The Big Three

After the events of the Provisional License Exams, the students of Class 1-A went back to class, eager to continued their Hero Studies. Passing the Provisional License Exams instilled a strong sense of confidence in X-23. Soon enough, three students entered the classroom.

X-23: Isn't it a little late in the year to be getting new students?

Aizawa: They're not new students. They're UA's top three students with the potential to become top Pro Heroes.

The goofy and energetic Mirio Togata was the first to introduce himself. The bubbly Nejire Hado did the same while the shy and reserved Tamaki Amajiki was silent. Nejire then began asking multiple students questions about the students and their Quirks. When she reached X-23, she began asking him about his Quirk.

Nejire: Wow! It's so cool meeting the daughter of Wolverine! Does it hurt when your claws pop out?

X-23: Actually, it's....

Before X-23 could answer, Nejire had already moved on to the next student. This greatly annoys X-23. Soon enough, Mirio talks about the upcoming internships. After that, he promptly challenges the whole class to a fight.

X-23: You want to fight our entire class by yourself?

Mirio: Yep! I want to see what you can do!

Aizawa then leads Class 1-A to the Gym Gamma building where Mirio does some stretches. X-23 observes Mirio while he does some last minute stretches. The only ones who didn't participate were Bakugo and Todoroki.

Aizawa: View this as a learning experience! It's a good opportunity for you all!

Mirio: Don't wait up on my account, guys! Attack me whenever and wherever you want!

Tokoyami: You're obviously much more ahead than us. But we've fought Pros.

Kirishima: Not to mention we took down some legitimate villains!

Mirio simply smiles as he did some last minute stretching. He gladly welcomed the challenge from Class 1-A. When the fight began, Midoriya charged at Mirio. But as he does so, Mirio's clothes suddenly begin to fall off. Jiro lets out an embarrassed scream as she covered her eyes.

X-23: What the hell?!

Sero: Why did your clothes fall off?!

Embarrassed by this, Mirio tries to put his clothes on.

Mirio: Oopsie! My Quirk's kinda tricky!

Midoriya sees an opportunity and tries to kick Mirio, but his attack phases right through him. Mirio smiles.

Mirio: Went for the face huh?

X-23 then lunges at Mirio with her claws, but she phases right through him. Mirio then suddenly disappears into the ground. Everyone kept their guard up while attempting to find Mirio. Suddenly, Mirio appeared from the ground behind the long distance fighters.

Mirio: I think I'll start by taking out the long distance fighters!

Jiro turns around to see a smiling and naked Mirio behind her. She lets out a scream that catches the attention of her classmates.

Mina: Hey! How did he do that?!

Before anyone could react, Mirio quickly takes out the long distance fighters without much difficulty. He then moved through the rest of the class as they attempt to attack him, but their attacks phase through. As Mirio takes down his classmates, X-23 uses her enhanced sense to keep track of Mirio. Surprisingly, Mirio moved and attacked at such a speed that even X-23 could barely keep up. Eventually, X-23 was the last one standing. As Mirio charges at Morbius, Mirio lands the punch, bringing X-23 to her knees. The Force behind Mirio's punch was more than she expected. Powering through the pain, X-23 slowly gets up.

Mirio: Whoa! That's a neat trick! Guess you're pretty strong! But then again, you're the daughter of Wolverine so I guess that explains it.

As X-23 gets back to her feet, she attempts to attack Mirio, but his attacks phase right through Mirio.

X-23: (Damn it! Why can't I hit this guy?!)

Mirio: Good on you for lasting this long!

As Mirio says this, he phases into the ground. Before X-23 could react, Mirio lands a powerful punch on X-23, taking her down.

Mirio: POWER!!!!!!!!

With that, Mirio won an overwhelming victory against Class 1-A. X-23 was taken aback by what had just happened. As the class slowly got up, they gathered around Aizawa and the Big Three. Mirio had a goofy smile on his face as he put his clothes on.

Mirio: I tried to make it so that you wouldn't see my willy. Sorry if you got a peak! But anyway, that's a taste of what it's like to fight me!

Yaoyorozu: What an amazing Quirk you have.

Mirio: It wasn't easy, I'll tell you that! It took me a while to get used to my Quirk, but with a little hard work, I was able to get a good grasp of my Quirk!

It was clear to X-23 and the rest of Class 1-A that Mirio was something different. They could see why Mirio was considered to be a student with the potential to become a top Pro Hero, maybe even the Number One Hero with All Might's retirement. Mirio then informs the class of the Hero Work Studies in which the students would be working with Pro Heroes. With that, the display was over. As class was dismissed, X-23 met up with Kirishima.

Kirishima: Heck of a day, huh?

X-23: You could say that again....

Kirishima: Guess we got a lot of hard work to do!

X-23: Knowing you, you're more than ready to face it head on. 

Kirishima smiled as he gave X-23 a big hug despite both still being sore from their fight with Mirio. With the Hero Work Studies coming soon, X-23 and Kirishima prepared themselves for what was to come.
