Chapter Two - Moving Into The Dorms

Days have passed since All Might's retirement and all of Hero Society is still reeling from it. Faith in Heroes have shaken as a result of All Might's retirement as Villains become more bold in committing crimes. As time passed, all of Class 1-A return to resume their Hero Studies. They were all outside the new Heights Alliance building where the Dorms were in. As X-23 arrived, Kirishima was overjoyed to see her. 

Kirishima: Laura! 

Before Kirishima could run over to hug X-23, Aizawa arrived to inform them of what was happening.

Aizawa: Now, I'll explain briefly about the dorms, but first things first. For now, we will focus on getting the provisional licenses we were planning to have you get during the training camp.

Sato: Oh yeah, they did talk about that!

Mina: So much happened that I forgot about it.

Aizawa: This is important. Listen up. Kirishima. Laura. Yaoyorozu. Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida.

As Aizawa called out their names, the six UA students stepped up before Aizawa. The rest of the students fell silent. Kirishima glanced over to X-23 and saw that something was wrong. 

Aizawa: These six went to go save Bakugo that night. Your reactions tell me that you all were at least aware of it. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and say this: If it weren't for All Might's retirement, I would've expelled everyone except Bakugo, Jiro, and Hagakure. Of course the six that went, but also the twelve who knew but didn't stop them betrayed our trust, no matter what the reason. I would be grateful if you could follow the proper procedures and act properly in order to regain that trust. Now of course there's the matter of what happened with Akihiro. 

As Daken's name was mentioned, many of the UA students glanced over to X-23 who clenched her fists in anger.

Aizawa: The matter with Akihiro and his defection will be dealt accordingly. That is all. Now, we're going inside. Let's have some energy!

Aizawa's lecture soured the mood of Class 1-A. Kirishima walks over to X-23 and tries to comfort her, but it does nothing. The mood was lightened when Bakugo dragged Kaminari to the gate and make him overuse his Quirk to temporary fry his brain, turning him into a bumbling idiot. This lightened the mood as everyone went into the Dorms. However, X-23 remained outside. 

Mina: Laura? 

X-23: I'll be there in a minute. 

Kirishima glanced sadly as he went into the Dorms. As X-23 was left alone, X-23's thoughts once more fell on Daken. In a fit of anger, X-23 punched the wall of the Heights Alliance building which left an indentation. After that, X-23 joined the others in the Dorms. As everyone moved into the Dorms, Mina had an idea.

Mina: How about we have a little contest? Let's explore everyone's Dorm rooms and vote who has the best!

Upon hearing this, everyone was in agreement to that idea. They started with the boy's Dorms. As they explored the boy's Dorms, they reached Kirishima's Dorm which was very manly.

Kirishima: A den of manliness!

Hagakure: If I find out my boyfriend had a room like this, I'd dump him.

X-23: Not bad, Eijiro. Somehow this is exactly how I pictured. 

Kirishima: Thanks, Laura! 

With that, the rest of the class explored the rest of the boy's Dorms with the exception of Bakugo and Mineta. After exploring the boy's Dorms, they went to the girl's Dorms. When they reached X-23's Dorm, she opens the door and lets them in without saying a word. What the class found was a fairly simply room with nothing of note. However, they found claw marks all over the walls. Mineta then attempts to try and rummage through X-23's drawers while no one was looking. Without hesitation, X-23 grabs Mineta by the shirt, pins him to the wall and runs one of her claws through the wall next to Mineta's face.

X-23: One move, jackass and I'll unman you before the entire class!

She then tosses Mineta to the ground. Mineta quickly cowers away as X-23 unsheathes her claws. 

X-23: There's nothing more to see. Let's move on. 

With that, most of Class 1-A moved on to the next Dorm. Just before Kirishima walks out of the door, he glances over to see X-23 trembling. 

Kirishima: What's up, Laura?

X-23: I....I just need a minute to myself. 

Kirishima: I can help if you....

X-23: I said I'm fine, Eijiro! I need a minute to myself. I'll catch up with the rest of you shortly.

Kirishima could see that Daken's betrayal had a heavy impact on her. Left with no other choice, Kirishima left the room to give X-23 her space. As X-23 was left alone, she took a minute to catch her breath. Once she did so, she joined up with the others just as they finished wrapping up the contest. The votes were heavily in Rikido Sato's favor due to his baking skills. With the contest wrapped up, X-23 went to her Dorm to sleep in for the night. Before she could close the door, Kirishima approached her. 

X-23: What is it, Eijiro? 

Kirishima: Tsu wanted us to meet her outside the building. She wanted to talk to us.

X-23: Just you and me?

Kirishima: Not just us. Everyone who went to rescue Bakugo. She's...she's been pretty quiet lately. If you don't want to come, I could cover for you. 

X-23: It's fine, Eijiro. I'll be out there shortly. 

With that, X-23 and Kirishima began making their way outside the Heights Alliance building to speak with Tsuyu and the others about what had transpired that night. X-23 prepare herself for what would go down.
