Ending 1
Part 2/2
_____________________________There was a lot that Kyatana could remember. Well, she could remember nearly everything. Sometimes it helped her, and other times, she wish she could forget.
She liked remembering most of her human life. It taught her lessons and gave her that quite distinctive personality.
Has any human cared so much for a person, yet felt no emotion for them whatsoever? And not merely hiding it, but truly not having it faze them, while at the same time breaking their world if they were gone?
That happened to Kya, with Tubbo. Maybe she revolved her whole time on the SMP around him, making a friend. Her last ones in this lifetime had been very... in human perspective, bland.
Yet, even having this strong connection, his "betrayal" to her only gave her a glimpse of her humanity. And afterwards, she came to terms that would only bring her neutrality when thought of.
And there was a lot of things she could never recall. Most times it never bothered her, but the rest, she would almost beg to know.
Like that last bit of her human life. It made her wonder how much more there was to know, despite her extensive knowledge. It made her feel, well... trapped. In the being she was, at the time she was set into. She was never free in the Lands or the SMP, or even in the home next to the Mediterranean Sea she lived in when she still had humanity with her.
And her mother brought her the greatest questions. Every other person would have two parents, who guided them through the odd life you could see in the Lands. Well Kya only had her father, who was the perfect definition of life within the species.
And with this lacking, she wondered what she was missing out on. What laid beneath the layers that coated the word 'mother'? What would she have looked like? What did she look like?
But one thing had always seen to cause and solve the same problems in her life. Wars. The stress of wars her problem. And the disturbing peace in the ruins of battlegrounds her solution.
And at one point, the thought of ever going back to war had plagued Kya's mind, making her fear everything it had caused, including the changes to her own appearance.
And so the mask of Kya was born, and it became a part of her. A simple feature, worn on a simple place, that held a complex meaning behind the plastic it was made of.
But once the second war hit, she realized she had been wrong. Almost two millennia of always having the right answer, she found herself to be incorrect in the longest choice of her life.
So by time that war had knocked on the wood of her home, she was ready. To make the hard decisions. To fight in a second war, one to end it all.
To take off the mask she had thought protected her for years.
And after that war, she had felt free. No longer did she hide herself behind the disturbing marks left on her appearance, that used to haunt her like a disturbed soul.
It wasn't just her, either. Besides, Demons, Dreamons, and Nightmares were only made for two things.
The first was to try out a species that could kill their own creator.
And the second... was to teach a population to truly feel what freedom was like.
When these beings were still human, they had blamed the bad things in life unpin the gods they worshipped. And in return, the gods told them they had no control, that the free will of the humans had caused them their own personal prison. One that had no bars, but felt too secure to be escapable.
So these people called their gods traitors, that all they had been worshipped for was a lie. And so came to mass mystery of the wipe of three million people, all rebirthed to have new lives.
Contrary to the belief of these three million souls, they were never tortured. Ever. Simply, they were given their choice to live a perfect life upon the morals they thought would keep them safe.
And it did keep them safe. But it also kept them from being free.
In her nature, she had been taught that she would never die, unless she had felt she lived a long and glorious life. One that had she felt free in.
So once she had gained her freedom, she felt safe to move on. Even though she had just take on the responsibility or governing an entire species, her legacy was done, now.
In the Lands, nobody left legacies. They had their life, and moved on. This way, nobody fought to overdo the achievements of those before.
This way, nobody fought for power, since it held no legacy.
But Kyatana had already changed a few things. She was the first non-Dreamon to wear a mask. She was the first to want to be away from the center. She was the first to use her abilities to move quickly. And she changed their crown. The one that represented what they stood for.
So with this, she started the first legacy upon her people. Sure, this would lead to their downfall, but this was the goal. They had all almost begged to be set free. And they never knew what it was.
For some, freedom was happiness. For others, it was the lift of responsibilities. And again, some thought it was the option to live the life you wanted.
And Kya thought she would be set free from revenge against those she believed had wronged her.
So she did want this. Everything they had been taught to work against, inevitably came back to them in a rush of curiosity.
So with her freedom, Kya was able to move on. Into the afterlife, where she would learn more.
And she knew she could come back anytime. Back into the life. She could revive anyone she wished, long after they perished.
So maybe, if she wanted to see Tubbo again in the afterlife, a short while later, she could do that. And if they wished to experience more in the overworld, they may do that as well.
So with that, she looked at Dream, who nearly held her hand through it (to face the pain and fears) so they could do it together...
...and disintegrated.
________________________________Hello for the last time to my first ending readers!
And hello for the third last time to all people planning to read the second ending as well.
Since we have hit the end of this, I will reveal that my next book will focus on Techno (and include a character of my own). It will be a standalone, and this will be too, so don't expect references ;)
I also do plan to edit this, but not for a while. Until then, you'll have to wait.
But for one last time, thank you so much for reading and goodbye.

FanficShe was known by them as Kya, her name, but not quite. She's the most mysterious of all of them, and the least willing to admit it. In her mind, she was meant to stay in the shadows. To be undiscovered and manipulative, and work the story- mold it...
