Ending 2
Part 2/2
_____________________________

If anybody knew Kyatana well, the most certainly knew she remember a lot of things. Most of those things were impressive, or helped her.

But others, would cause her more stress than the present could give her, and that said a lot.

Amiss the things she could remember, dozens of languages could be found, several religions, and history and details of many, many cultures.

And that was only the beginning.

But there was some things that Kyatana couldn't remember, which would come as surprising to many.

And those things, would cause humans heart attacks with the stress they caused. But it hardly did her anything.

But amiss the things she couldn't remember, you would find parts of her human life, mostly.

Well, this lack of memory from her humanity caused her many misconceptions in her next life.

For example, she wished to take revenge on many gods, due to the fact that one she had worshipped in her human life betrayed her. And tortured her - well, not just her - as a test.

But in reality, there was none of that. Sure, most of the story she told was true, but she got the ending wrong.

This, in total, had caused two wars.

The first, had left her afraid, mostly. She hid behind her mask. Didn't tell her story. Didn't trust anyone.

In turn, she locked herself behind what would symbolically be prison bars. In other words, her own freedom was gone.

And that lack of freedom finally gave her goals.

For example, she finally had a score to settle. And she could finally dream of better days, when she wasn't hiding - despite it being forced upon her by herself.

The second war was very expected from this. Mostly since neither side got what they wanted the first time around.

And the second war did a few things of its own.

It made her the leader of her species, which was a role she knew she was meant to fill since the start. It also let her take off her mask, and be a little more open - and secretive, in some ways - about herself.

So it would have been fair to assume she had been set free from this.

But somethings still held Kyatana back from moving on.

Maybe it was her unfinished business with the humans that had partially betrayed her. It could've been her role as Elder that made her feel like she belonged there.

But whatever it was, she still wasn't free.

And this would rise more questions. Such as when would she be free and what would it take. To be fair, she didn't know the answers to those questions herself, since she didn't care all that much.

To her, life was a game. Death was another. In her eyes, both were temporary, always leading back to the other.

That was true, yes, and she was lucky to see that.

But anybody could agree she should be a bit more careful. Though she was pretty much immortal until she allowed herself to die, some things can be very, very permanent.

Like her scars, for example.

Maybe those were just accidents from when she didn't care, or maybe she was like that the whole time.

But then again, it could've been intentional. Just some part of a plan of hers. It may seem unlikely, but with how much she knows and how much she can do, who's to say it's impossible?

It could've have been a test to herself, or on society.

Whatever the reason, she did find those to be quite permanent.

But did she really care anymore? Not really.

So she did take off the mask for the final time, and replaced it with a crown that resembled herself - as it was designed by her, after all.

And she was ecstatic about it, so why would she give that up? Why would she give up her life's goal just to move on to something different?

She wouldn't.

And with that heart, she would make her way back to her home. Well, the most reliable one she's ever had. The treehouse, for quick terms.

It did trouble her some to break the news to her friend, who proposed the idea of death. In reality, her decision would not change, though.

Her friend seemed to almost have second thoughts, fearing what came beyond this life he had.

But she reassured him, telling him that if he had enough willpower to communicate with her in death, and told her he wished to live, she would grant him that much.

So with a heavy heart, she would give her friend a hug. One that didn't hold anything, yet much emotion.

And in that hug, she would always remember that when she pulled away, there had only been air to hug at all.
