Olympus presently 1 hour after Percy 'died':
The goddess Hestia sat in the hearth, as usual, watching the other Olympians argue. Usually she would have ignored their bickering, but for now currently she was paying close attention to the topic the Olympians were "discussing", Percy Jackson. After he sent the message out to the hunters, Artemis came back to Olympus to discuss with the Olympians what he had meant, they were worried and asked her to search thoroughly through the whole area, to find signs that might help them locate Percy Jackson.
The first time Artemis had gone, she had immediately noticed a large rock sitting in the middle of nowhere. When she got a closer glance of what is that rock, she nearly fell back in shock. Stumbling back, she waved a hand and a mist appeared. "Yes? How can I help you mi'lady?"
"Iris, please show this to the Olympians. They must see this!" Artemis said urgently.
"Alright. I will inform them now. Please hang on while you are being redirected." Iris calmly stated. Seconds later, she saw the Olympians flash into their thrones. Without giving them to react to the forced flash, Artemis directed their attention to the screen. "Brothers and sisters, I had found Percy Jackson..." She could barely bring her face up for them to see her tear-streaked face. Audible gasps were heard around the throne room, and it was silence for the first time the gods had been there, but it was broken when Poseidon broke down sobbing. He fell back to his sea-green throne, and as he did, he seems to age. By the time he had landed on his throne, he was into his late 50s-60s.
Everyone broke out yelling and shouting, demanding what had happened to Percy. Artemis flashed into Olympus, and asked Iris, "I am curious too. What did he do?" Iris smiled, and waved her hand...and they were sucked into a flashback.
They saw a hooded man–must have been Ercyp–give Percy his bow and hood, and produced another hood for himself, for what reasons they don't know. Ercyp then ran away, while Percy took a deep breath. Suddenly, they saw the Giant King along with Gaia step out. What transpired next was too fast for any of them to follow, but it ended up Percy killing the Giant King without any help with the power of the bow. Gaia then swallowed Percy Jackson, not before Percy shot an arrow through her. Even though they could not hear the sound, they flinched when they saw Gaia bellow. She then dissolved into fine sand, and drifted to the ground. They had just witnessed the impossible: Percy Jackson had defeated the Giant King with some help from Ercyp, Gaia was slain, trapped in a coma. At what cost? His life.
They were puzzled about one thing though: why will Ercyp help Percy? They did not know each other...or do they? Suddenly, they felt the ground shook violently. They were all seated, so it did nothing much except to startle them. The strange thing was what happened after the ground shook. Hestia watched on in confusion as one by one, the Olympians fell from their thrones, all crying out in pain. She was panicking when she felt a stabbing pain in her sternum. She gasped softly and fell to the ground too. In her vision, she saw darkness swirling around the room. The darkness gathered in one place to form a shape of a man.
They soon discovered their source of weakness. A voice from the darkness that had grown, laughed. "Well, well, if it is not the high and mighty Olympians. Look at the state you are in just being merely in my presence. Oh well, I should not waste my time here with you insolent gods. Wish you the best luck in the coming war...."
Just as the figure in dark turned to go away, Zeus croaked out weakly. "Who are you, exactly?" The figure turned slightly and Hestia could almost hear the smirk in his voice. "Me? Well, for starters, I nullified your powers for now, and as for who am I, well, you can say, this is the End of your beginnings." He chuckled, as if he made a joke. "To be exact and if you want to respect me, call me Lord, as I created you all." Zeus eyes widened."Chaos?" The figure was silent for a second. Hestia felt the anger in his posture. "Do not compare me to that useless trash. I am far more powerful than it, as I am Chaos brother! Be warned now!"
He left without anything else, and the Olympians began to regain their powers and strength. Athena turned to Zeus with a troubled expression in her eyes. "Father, this is bad. Even I don't know him." Zeus sighed, rubbing his eyes. Hestia thought about the weird man's words. Chaos brother.....End of the beginning... suddenly everything clicked in her mind. "Zeus, if I may speak. I think that the man is Chaos brother, and his name is End, given the underlined meaning of his words." Hestia spoke out loud. Zeus looked up, and Hestia saw desperation in his eyes, something she had not seen in Zeus for a very long time. "If that is true, we need the help of Chaos, the only one able to stand head to head with End. Meeting dismissed." Ending the meeting on that ominous note, Zeus teleported away, leaving behind the silent and stunned Olympians.
