Percy POV

Groaning as I woke, I was aware of the pain that flared up as I moved my leg by accident. I swallowed some ambrosia and poured nectar over the large gash. I winced, remembering how she used to apply nectar over my wounds. No I can't think like this anymore. I am an outcast. exiled from camp. I wish that the gods stop being so...how do you put it? Yeah, arrogant. Don't think I am such a seaweed brain, I know vocabulary.

Anyway, I saw a lone demigod, wandering. I snapped my hands, manipulating the Mist to my command. I learned this a couple of weeks ago, also because the Mist is part water. I changed my appearance to a blond, browned eyed lad, and started the way of the demigod. The demigod noticed me and stood shakily, pointing his dagger, which is full with dust, nervously at me. Golden dust, I noticed. "Who are you? Are you some kind of monster? Stay away from me!" He cried, slowly stepping away from me.

I noticed, with satisfaction, that even though he seems afraid of me, he dares to fight, even if it is to his death. And to his questions, I shook my head and replied,"No, I'm not going to hurt you. I want to bring you to a safe place where you can meet others like you." the boy, still nervous, nodded and sat down warily. He packed his stuff and we moved to the direction of camp. "What's your name, kid?" I asked randomly. He glared at me, and I raised my hands in surrender. "I'm sorry, but you haven't introduce yourself, hence the question." He nodded and looked a bit scared, before steeling himself and extending his hand. "Name's Bruce, son of Hephaestus. Yours?" I smiled." Just call me Ercyp."

Once we reach Thalia's pine tree, I turned to Bruce. "This is where I part with you. You must continue your journey without me. I know that you are thinking why I do not enter. The reason is because I need to rescue other demigods too. Farewell." Saying that, I water travelled away, a skill I had perfected, and watch as Bruce stared, open mouthed, before stepping inside camp.

Over the next few months, I survived, killing monsters, leading demigods to camp, sometimes to Artemis's hunters. I had trained myself to survive, and at least shoot a bow, a skill which I plan to sharpen. I slipped away before the hunters could catch me with another recuit.

Artemis POV

My hunters were hunting this mysterious boy who call himself "Ercyp". Apparently he had gotten several kids to camp, which puzzled all of the gods. How is this man able to evade the gods for so long? All the kids he had brought all gave the same description, even some of my new hunters! I am angry, yet impressed at that boy's skill. He managed to get a girl into camp and slip away before my hunters notice him. No boy has ever evaded my hunters for this long! I sighed as I stepped out of my tent.

I saw a dark shadow, and instantly was on full alert. I drew an arrow, and shot it at the fast moving shadow. Seconds later, instead of the thud of the arrow landing on the boy, the arrow flew back and embedded itself on a nearby tree close to my head. Prising out the arrow, I saw that a slip of paper had been stuffed inside the tip of my arrow. Who could have removed the silver and then fill it up again not before stuffing a letter inside? I unrolled the paper, and down there crudely wrote, was the words "Don't bother trying to kill me, Artemis" I scoffed at the words, but when I look up, instead of the boy, was a girl about 8 years old. So it was Ercyp. Huh.

To say that Zeus, my father is angry is an understatement. When I flashed in, called a meeting and told Zeus about what happened, He exploded, his eyes full of unmasked rage. "HE WHAT?!!" He bellowed. All the Olympians winced and covered their ears, trying to stop the ringing. Zeus calmed down enough to order all the gods to search for him.

Two months later, and still no sight or word of him. It seems that he had just disappeared from the face of Earth. I had called off the hunt for Ercyp till we find a lead on him. Right now we were hunting the Nemean Lion, as most of the monsters mysteriously disappeared.

We were just moving through the forest when suddenly, our prey, cyclops and Gration appeared. He beamed at me, and laughed." Welcome! Join the party will you? Its better late then never!" I snarled, and prepared for a fight, even though we are going to lose. Most our hunters were tired because they had been trekking for the whole day, and weren't prepared to fight so many monsters. When they charged, I went straight for Gration, with Thalia covering me. He stood there, waiting for us with a grin on his face. When we were within hitting range of him, we took out our hunting knives, and slashed at the giant legs. He bellowed and fell to the ground. Before we could finish him, he swept his spear, knocking us off our feet. Then he stood up, his wounds healed. "Gaia has rose once again! This time, she will not be stopped!" He taunted, after noticing us looking at his healed legs.

"Give up Artemis. Look around you. My minions are winning and there is nothing you can do!" Gration gloated. Looking around, I saw my hunters surrounded by all kinds of monsters. We were trapped. However, before either of us could react, a arrow, which seemes to be made of all kinds of metal, lit with flames, suddenly sprouted from Gration's chest. His grin turned into terror,"No, not him, he can't do this... he is dead!" Gration tried to convince himself. A second later, another flaming arrow found itself to his head. "Nooo, impossible......." Gration cried out as he exploded into dust.

The monsters and hunters all stopped momentarily, stunned. as Gration dissolved without any help of a god. They begin muttering among themselves,"Its the destroyer! He is back!" "No, it has been too long, it must be someone else" "We need to retreat!"

"Too late to run now. Time to die." A man's voice rang out from some nearby bushes. A ripple of fear passed through the ranks of monsters as they begin to panic and run away from the bushes. One by one, those fleeing and screaming monsters were reduced to ashes and no one was left.

Once I saw every monster die, I narrowed my eyes at the boy who appeared from the bush. "So it was you that sent me that message, a mere boy," he chuckled as he casually placed his bow away. Before he did that, the bow was easily the most amazing one I ever came across. It is sleek black, with hints of red and yellow on its metal. But the string was the most breathtaking of all. The string is multicolored, seemingly like metal. The type of bow which he use is longbow, a powerful bow, but hard to master. I guess that I stared too long, because the boy chuckled, and hands me an arrow. "Take it as apology, Artemis. I will be going now. Just ten metres away is a girl. Treat her well. Bye...for now..." Before I could say anything, he dissolved into mist. Weird.
